A wonderful tour, well worth the hour and a half experience. We leanent about the history of Buxton, Buxton's famous Cresent the mineral, spring waters and the history of the surrounding land.

This was a fantastic experience inside the Grade I-listed crescent, telling all about the history of the building! The stories go way back to its construction and usage for things like medicine, artefacts and miniature models are included too. An interactive VR allows us visitors to see the point of view of going above the crescent in a balloon centuries ago which was amazing, as was the room lit up with a water effect!

Excellent place to visit while in Buxton. Self guided tour tells the story of the development of Buxton as a spa from Roman times to the present day. Displays are first class including: static, audio visual, virtual reality and interactive.Helpful staff to assist if required.

Great historical and informative experience. Was interactive and good amount of details. The guides are also very knowledgeable. I particularly liked the apothecary part downstairs! Whole building has been restored so well. Worth popping to the cafe too.

Stefan was our guide. The tour was made extra interesting by his enthusiasm and knowledge of any questions asked. Excellent value and very different from any tour that we have been on. Wonderful building. The tour lasted nearly 2 hours. Thank you so much, I really recommend it.

Really enjoyable. I booked this for myself and my husband as something to do whilst visiting Buxton. It definitely exceeded our expectations. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone into the tour. All the staff were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There was lots to do and every room was different. It would also be great to take kids round and is also clearly used for school groups. I would recommend to anyone!

Amazing Georgian architecture but not quite the opulent surroundings as in Bath or Harrogate, still well worth a visit though.
