We had been recommended the very talented Kate (Cakey Weller) by our florist Blooming Cow. We wanted a fully gluten free wedding cake and were keen to choose flavours that gave a nod to our relationship in some way. Kate loved our story and was so excited to help us create our dream cake and flavours that we quickly agreed to a tasting.

Kate is a pleasure to work with, is honest and makes sure you do not over order, while still ensuring there is plenty of cake for everyone (including those who want a second slice!). From first taste to the wedding day itself, Kate was quick to respond, provide advice and meet our needs. The tasting was fantastic and very generous allowing us to make our flavour decisions. Not only did it show off Kate’s abilities in the kitchen but it provided a depth of options that give you a real taste of what you could choose to make your day that bit more special.

We chose a semi-naked cake with lemon and lavender, mocha and strawberry prosecco tiers which was perfect, tasted amazing and every slice was eaten! In terms of decoration, Kate worked seamlessly with our florist Blooming Cow to create what can only be described as a master piece of wildflowers and fruit which complimented our flavours perfectly and brought our theme together. We had so many compliments and no one could believe it was gluten free. If you are looking for a baker who can deliver on taste and design for your wedding cake, look no further, we cannot recommend Kate and her baking talents enough.

Twice now Kate has delivered the most beautifully decorated cake and cupcakes for a family celebration. Not only did they look stunning, they were delicious! Gluten Free not a problem for her either! Her talent and skills and passion for baking really added that extra shine on the day. Thank you!!!

The super talented Kate, made our wedding cake for us. After providing us with very generous portions of different flavours to taste, we chose a semi naked cake with White Chocolate & Raspberry, Carrot and Lemon tiers and it tasted amazing!

Kate was a pleasure to work with...friendly and thoughtful, with a great attention to detail. She gave honest advice when recommending the size and number of portions, making sure we didn't over order and there was still plenty of cake for everyone! It was absolutely delicious and looked beautiful on the day.

Kate made this amazing cake for my son's birthday which he absolutly loved, I loved the fact that it was gluten and dairy free and still tasted amazing not too sweet but just right. We also ordered some cup cakes for the birthday party and they went down a storm. I highly recommend ...took the stress out of baking myself (i'm sure a nailed it moment would have been had) Communication was excellent thanks Kate
