Great village store open 7 days a week and selling everything you need though a little pricey, but saves a trip into Selby.
Its a lifeline for 3 local villages.
Everyone is so friendly and always willing to help especially the manager.

Only tend to use the post office occasionally. But it's never open. Called on one day about 9.20 am..it was closed cos they were doing an audit or cashing up of some kind. Co.e back in 10 min they say. Only wanted a stamp. Not driving 6 mile round trip to have to come back for a stamp. So I went to carlton. Went yesterday. Post office closed. This morning sign on door..closed til mon. What good is aving a village post office and it's never open. So I used carlton once again. They get my custom from now on.

Decided to see how the staff are and not pre-judge. Got into conversation with a chap behind the till and pointed out there had been some negative reviews. He said "that will be the boss I imagine". I only wanted a bottle of water as I was cycling past and they demand you spend £5 which I thought was now unlawful based on banking fair play rules. Will not be stopping there again.

This ‘post office’ is the Hogwarts for appalling customer service!!! It’s either ‘closed’ for some trivial reason or the moaning staff are so slow that you lose the will to live….. Want some overpriced groceries? Not a problem - but be warned, you will wait an age to pay for the privilege. Avoid at all cost…..

if you ask anyone in the area about how bad the shop is the first thing they will say is the management. as soon as you walk through the door she is either swearing, sla gging off other staff members, making you wait for 5 minutes while she ignores the till or a combination of all 4. never in all my life have i been so disgusted with the people skills this manager has. my 4 year old overheard her swearing as we entered the shop and now she has picked up on several words. after telling her how unprofessional she was being she just shrugged and proceeded to start giving her life story. give this place a miss go to a supermarket take the time to go somewhere where the staff smile and don't swear because they have had a bad day, in all honesty the high turnover of staff should be more than an indication of how management is.

The staff at this shop are possibly the biggest mongs in the whole entire world… it’s actually incredible how slow people can be. Especially the women that work at the shop. The only one that is good is the ginger bloke.
