Really helpfull staff, no matter of your public or trade they will sort you out. Also they can cut big sheets of 8x4 super accurately and straight!

I used this branch for the first time ,today. Staff on the counter worked like demented Beavers handling paperwork. I am rather crocked and was also very grateful for the loading of the timber. Parking is easy . Good roads to them . Five star rating from me!

I never write reviews, but this place deserves one.

As a domestic non trade customer, places like this can often fell intimidating with staff looking down their nose at you to not knowing what a double-dongle-single-flanged-udjamaflip is.

Not this place. The crew are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They speak clearly and with passion. Yesterday they advised me on a switch of wood type for a project I am working on to help me achieve a better finish whilst also looking after my budget.

The quality of the timber is 1st class as well. I will never again be buying knotted, bowed and bent stuff from the likes of Wickes!

Just picked up some 4mm MDF and the chaps cut it to size for me. Really tidy branch, helpful staff and great service. Am in the merchant trade myself and I was pretty impressed!

Always top service. Never have to wait for a staff member, they always approach and ask how they can help. Always full stock, timbers straight and boards flat. Counter staff friendly and helpful and unlike many other builders merchants, actually sat down waiting to serve you. Best place to buy timber in the surrey hills.

Really helpful friendly staff, they know their wood and provide good advice and offer a speedy cutting service should you need it. The wood they provide is much better quality than that you'd get from Wickes, B&Q etc.
