Recently purchased a couple of items from their ebay store and couldn't be happier with the products and service received.

The kits I purchased were at a great price (best I could find online), they arrived very quickly, were really well packed and in perfect condition.

Popped in to the shop the other day. It has an impressive stock of scalextrics, model railways, r/c items, kits and tools. A proper treasure trove. A great shop, well worth a visit.

Bigger than it looks. Don’t let the modest shop front fool you. This place goes back quite a way.

The goods are split logically into sections each one catering for a different type of modelling. Pretty much every thing is covered with the notable exception of D&D / RPG figures. There is a definite emphasis on trains with the back third of the shop dedicated to tracks, engines and accessories.

Staff were knowledgeable, very helpful and found a model I thought was no longer available.

I was certainly expecting a better and faster customer service, honestly. Now I'm basically losing another weekend because after shipping back a Peco PSG-1 that I bought new and was sent in used condition (see pictures), they now "will get this one looked at 1st to see what happened" despite the fact that I already explained the problem and provided pictures.

What happened is that you don't inspect the items that you ship, and during this time I ordered £94.24 on scenary products (mostly Woodland Scenics) from a close competitor of yours, received my order, noticed that I was missing a bag of Woodland Scenics Flowering Foliage, and received the item in 12h along with an email apologizing. Talk about customer service.

Visited the Saturday before Xmas to buy some track & controller for my first layout. They were happy to give lots of advice (not just trying to sell me lots). Lots of stock, both new & 2nd hand, with good prices. Will definitely use on-going.

They have a very good range of stuff for my boys birthday from train sets, scaletrix, airfix models to toy cars, tanks and soldiers.

They also do some repairs, especially train sets with a minimum of £15.

It's probably best for older kids and adults.

Got my boy the Mallard train set for Xmas cheaper than Amazon.
