Without doubt the worst place I have delivered to!!!

Chep Severnside do an excellent job of pretending to do work. The fork lifts don't load trucks, unless it's unavoidable, preferring to move pallets around the yard for fun. Oh and occasionally they come to the the queued trucks to smile at you with an "enjoying your wait?" grin.
Expect a good three hour wait here.
My advice is to change to the red pallet companies, they are much quicker and the pallets are far better maintained.

HGV Advice!

Access from the old Severn Bridge M48!

Better than other Chep sites, 4 trucks at a time! Can still be a queue at times! The check in system is a bit flawed, the FLT drivers data pads are painfully slow and clunky to use, I can’t see how they will last very long! Drivers print out our own paperwork as we leave! Can’t see how that will last very long before it get smashed by a frustrated trucker who’s been waiting 4 hours!!!

Good access and better layout so 4 stars! FLT driver who dealt with me was spot on and helpful!!!

It's the same system at all the sites. Check in kiosk is on the left as soon as you pull off the road opposite the Travelodge.

No obvious system for queuing. Been waiting for 2 hours and 4 lorries that were behind me have already been loaded. Forklift drivers just blank you. No communication

This place needs more Forklift drivers and loading bays for the amount of trucks they go trough every day, 2-3 hours queueing time it's the norm
