Don’t buy online from this company.
My wife ordered from them for a Christmas present and got nothing to say the order had been received. No delivery after six days and I have spent hours trying to call them, leaving a voice message and a email. The money has been taken from our account.
As busy as their phones were. Strangely at 16.00 hours exactly, the recorded message went to sorry we are closed

As with many others, I had a hugely disappointing experience with this company this Christmas. I ordered some cheese as a gift for a friend, based on delivery taking 2-4 working days from dispatch. To begin with, I did not receive an order confirmation email even although the money had left my account. Eventually I did and this email suggested that I would receive a dispatch email and tracking number for my package. This didn't happen. My cheese finally arrived, randomly, on Christmas eve. I had to buy something else for my friend as I was meeting them on the 20th to exchange gifts. My order was also missing an item. I understand that Christmas is a busy time for trading, and that this company was clearly overwhelmed with orders. HOWEVER, to continue taking new orders whilst knowing fine well there was a backlog of outstanding orders they were clearly unable to deal with, is wholly irresponsible and unacceptable. This absolutely suggests a priority for profit over customer satisfaction/care. Their customer service was exceedingly poor (I did not receive a response to my emails to them), again probably because they were overwhelmed. However, I have little sympathy re this overwhelm.. They brought the stress on themselves by continuing to accept new orders when they couldn't keep up. What a mess!

Victim of their own success maybe? Once you go into Paid Advertising on Facebook it means you get everyone and their mother ordering as people will order anything that they see on there. This means they simply couldn’t cope with that level of demand being as they are a small company. Should’ve stuck with your loyal customers rather than getting greedy and having the whole world trying to order for Christmas. The cheese is great but will only order again during quiet periods. Unfortunately damage has probably been done now and getting the trust of customers back isn’t easy.

The item finally arrived with zero communication. The confirmation email said delivery within 1-3 days. After a week of hearing nothing, I contacted customer care via email and was ignored. I tried calling, but no one answered; I left a message, but no callback. The item has now arrived with no notice of despatch or tracking. Relieved to have received it as it was an Xmas gift. The quality is very nice, and I would like to have given 5 stars but looking at reviews so many people have experienced the same anxiety right before Christmas with this company.

I tasted these last Xmas and I loved them. Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to order some of my own.

They last very delicious and very unique. The truckles all come in a wax coating which isn’t hard to cut through. Just need to keep them in the fridge.

The sticky toffee cheese sounds strange but tastes amazing.

Perfect for a cheese board with some crackers and chutney.

Kids loved it too. The more spicier ones aren’t too overwhelming either.

Would make a very nice gift as well as you can pick your own cheeses and have them delivered in a real wicker hamper.

Excellent quality cheese. Great price. Will be buying again in the future.

Postage was fast and the parcel arrived well packaged and with clear labels to keep it out of the sunlight and that it’s fragile.

As with other recent reviews - shocking customer service .The company has clearly struggled to fulfil customer orders but have continued to take more customer orders knowing that they would be unable to deliver on these yet have taken the money - i have not had a refund and only received generic replies to my emails. The annoying thing is if they had been honest i could have purchased my cheese gifts elsewhere and wouldn’t have been left embarrassed when I didn’t have gifts for friends and family.
I would not recommend this company and i will definitely not be using again

I ordered 2 hampers on the 17th Dec before the deadline if the 18th for Xmas delivery. An email arrived to say some deliveries wouldn't be made due to staff sickness and demand etc. The email stated that a refund would be made to customers who had not received their order. I still await my £63 as we begin the 2nd week of January.

I didn't read the reviews on here before ordering and will complain to PayPal if the issue isn't resolved quickly.

Been ordering from these guys for years, never had a problem. Ordered 2 hampers on the 20th. Christmas delivery cut off dates were hidden away in the FAQs and as with everyone else, no processing email, no follow up email, no one answer calls, no hampers. Would love a refund. Regardless of how busy the time of year is a business should not be taking money if it can't deliver. You've just lost a long time customer - Update- finally received our hampers weeks after ordering. Adding one star back on because they are fantastic quality cheese and crackers but it was an incredibly disappointing experience. Don't know if I will still be ordering in future and I would caution anyone to avoid ordering during Christmas.
