Clacton Library is not only a great place for books, but it also hosts a wonderful museum exhibit on Saturdays! I had the chance to visit, and it was fascinating to see so many old artifacts, including a vintage cycle from 1938, old movie tickets, photographs, coins, and even notebooks from decades ago. It’s a charming glimpse into history, and the collection is very well curated.

The library itself is quiet, spacious, and offers a wide range of resources. It’s definitely worth visiting, especially if you're interested in both reading and a bit of local history. Highly recommended.

Clacton Library is located towards the town centre, not far from the railway station! The concrete modernist building is uninviting from outside, but brighter & airier than it looks on the inside. There's the main downstairs general library area & an upstairs study room. It's laid out with most of the books downstairs, but some specialist titles & local history resources are to be found upstairs. As with all Essex Libraries, free wi-fi is available on-site...

My nephew goes to library all around because he loves to read he has cerebral palsy and we try and include him in everyday things and treat him no different today is the first day that I am disgusted in the way that the staff that were in the library were standing in the children's area and the little boy was sitting right next to them then a few children came in and the ladies asked them if they would like to be apart of the reading
Club our little boy was sitting listening but no once included him I felt awful that he had been treated less than a normal walking child this child is 12 years old and absolutely loves to read your staff clearly need training on how to include a disabled child. on leaving they both said good bye to the little boy while showing each other pictures on there phone. Absolutely disgusted I feel he was excluded and treated differently

McDonald's is as McDonald's does. Quick and efficient. Could do with maybe an extra couple of click and serve points or put up extra temp spaces during busier periods
