The clerk couldn’t be lovelier, he made us feel at ease and explained everything really nicely. Thank you for that.
However, on the other hand, the security guy couldn’t be ruder. Most people don’t go to consulates on a regular basis, so they don’t know what to do, and you acting annoyed when I am trying to clarify something is really off putting.

I arrived earlier on the day, and was seen almost immediately. I received a lot of help on the day, to make sure I had completed all forms correctly. The information I received on the phone and by email helped me come prepared with all that was needed. The staff were very helpful and patient with my Czech, which is not the best these days.

Impossible to get through on the phone, it's a long way to drive on the off chance that I'll be allowed in. After the experience with London embassy where staff is rude, sarcastic, arrogant and unhelpful I decided to apply to become a UK citizen since I feel totally deserted by my own country. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Been trying to get trough on phone for two months . I desperately need my passport renewed and the phone line never worked for me . But two months after , I am ready to go for my meeting . Really need to get on the line 9:00 am on dot

I have recently requested marriage certificate and new passport with name change.I was reading very bad reviews so I was a bit worried. But in my experience everything was really smooth, appointment was made fast and fit with my passport expiration. Staff were very helpful on the phone, via email and in person too. It was very difficult to get through over the phone, kept trying on and off for over 2 weeks but once I succeeded I found the staff very polite, patient and professional. However I then had to wait a few months for the first available appointment which was very dissapointing. Eventually I managed to secure an earlier appointment by calling daily as there is sadly no cancellation list.
I would like to praise the staff members, they were all very nice, professional, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Well done 👏
Unfortunately the same can't be said about the security man at reception who was very rude, disrespectful with no manners at all who is surely in the wrong job! Put aside the fact he doesn't even speak Czech language, I was treated by him like a second class citizen, he was using hand gestures to keep people outside in the rain and then calling one by one when he felt like it.He eventually spoke to me on the first name basis (tykal mi). He creates a very negative first impression which is a shame as this is not the case once you get past him.
