It’s a good coop with the usual variety of produce on offer. Price is higher than the other supermarkets in the town but the quality is often better. Like they say, you pay for what you get

I just spent 10 pounds to wash my clothes in water without liquid, to carry them wet and smelly home. The dryer was cold at the highest temperature, after drying water flowed from my clothes, there was no liquid, although it says on the washing machine door that the powder is included in price.

On Saturday 6th May I went to the Co-op Mablethorpe and going in the door my heel went down the grid on the drain away in front of the door. My new shoe was stuck and I had to step out of it. A very nice man managed to get my heel released but it was trapped so tight it broke. I tried to raise the issue with the staff who appeared un-interested, eventually one staff member took my details and said the manager would ring me but I have had no call. I was annoyed my new shoes were ruined but to be honest but the issue did need raising as it may pose a risk to others.
Perhaps it will take someone to fall and hurt themselves before my concerns are taken seriously.

Big shop with lots of items. Has a really nice bakery section at the back. The shop also holds a post office and has tills that are self service for a quick shop

A large supermarket for a Co-op. Food quality is mediocre overall, rather overpriced, as all Co-ops are, fresh food wrapped mostly in plastic (as most other supermarkets).
Astonishingly no checkouts open even during a very busy morning period; all self serve. Personally I do not want to self checkout as if I wanted to work for the Co-op, or any other supermarket, I would apply for a job and actually be paid to do so.
Supermarkets are in a race to rationalise their business's toward further automisation. Consumers who oppose this will surely eventually lose the battle but, we don't have to like it, and my money will be spent in the local markets where possible henceforth.
I would say to the Co-op, some people see through the business strategy and view it with distaste.

Convenient and helpful Sales staff. I have disabilities and the Manager carried My shopping to Caravan. Only downside was products were overpriced. Shame as nowadays there's no need. They would have been given 5 Stars otherwise.
Clean and tidy store with appropriate Covid rules in place.
