Purchased a used Swift Challenger 480, Charlotte was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Condition of the van was excellent and all in good working order. Have no hesitation in using Cranham Caravans again and would recommend them.

We purchased a caravan from Cranham a short while ago. The whole process from initial viewings to payment was excellent. There is a great stock of new and used vans (and motorhomes) and the staff are experts in all areas. One aspect of interactions we had is that there are no pressure sales tactics which is very refreshing. A special shout out to Charlotte and Lizzy who we dealt with, they are fab and we highly recommend a visit if you are looking to purchase a van or motorhome.

We have recieved excellent service. We only went to look. We were shown the caravans we had looked at on the website. Charlotte was very professional and did not pressure us at all. Charlotte, although only in her first week of working at Crangam was a sweetheart. Anything she was not sure about she asked for a senior worker to help her.
Cranham's have been extremely helpful in every aspect of purchasing our new caravan.
In addition to this, the on site shop is very well equipped and extremely efficient.

Disappointing visit today. Myself and my partner travelled for an hour to visit Cranham Leisure for the first time. Staff were polite as we walked into the gated sales area, however all vehicles are locked, and all viewings are accompanied / with sales pitch throughout. The sales member that came to unlock each van stood in the van with us, whilst not pushy, this did not enable us to have a relaxed look around, instead feeling like we were under time pressures. After doing this for two vehicles, we left and visited alternative dealers, where we were left to spend time browsing in order to find our next van. This locked vehicle / salesperson led experience may suit some, but having owned motorhomes for over 15 years, this approach was unlike any other experience at a dealers. Whilst not pushy, this experience was not for us. For the past few vans that we have purchased, we have been known to sit in the van and have a good look around for an hour or more. Motorhomes are not cheap and I am not too sure why a dealership would choose this approach, other than not trusting customers to be courteous within their vehicles. I accept that at some dealerships we have witnessed broken catches etc, assumingly from customers forcing things, however for genuine buyers, I do not see how this locked and escorted viewing process will allow customers to choose the right vehicle.

Great service from Richard on our used caravan purchase, from the Cranham branch.
And now another great experience, for the purchase of a brand new caravan, from Mac and Paul, at the Hatfield branch.
Unfortunately the defects on or new van have still not been fix over 3 months after agreeing to take delivery, with a promise of fixing after taking it. This is some 8 months from when I was originally supposed to take delivery, it's not Cranham Caravans fault, but Bailey for not making the parts available. I wished I'd never got evolve in a new purchase now, still waiting for fixes, 10 months after taking delivery, 14 months from the original had over date, Never again!!!
