What an amazing day we had at Croston Old School for our wedding last weekend! Thank you so much to Lisa and all the staff there for making it so special. Right from the get go Lisa was so helpful and responsive, and the service provided and attention to detail was amazing.
We were invited to share our ideas, hopes and vision and Lisa helped to make it happen so everything ran smoothly on the day (even arranging a test run with our evening caterer to make sure they could fit their fish and chip van through the church gate posts!) I cannot believe the value for money and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Such a versatile building and outdoor area, and the sounds of the river, flowers and greenery outside were just lovely. Provisions were made for all weather (thankfully it stayed dry though!) so there was no stress in the lead up and it was so lovely to be able to set up the hall the day before and have my family there to help so I could really relax and feel excited knowing everything was in place.
I would 100% recommend Croston Old School for your special day or indeed any occasion; it was everything we hoped for and more. Thank you so much to Lisa and the wonderful team there!

We had our wedding reception at the Old School and couldn't recommend enough! Lisa is fantastic and was a huge help guiding us through the process. All our questions were answered quickly and she was available every step of the way. Thanks to her and the rest of the wonderful staff the day went incredibly smoothly. We had lots of compliments from friends and family on the venue and the team. We had the best day in such a beautiful setting! Thank you to Lisa and the rest of the team for making it so special!

I have used Croston Old School many times for both formal and informal occasions. We held my son's birthday here for the last two years, the South Wing has been perfect on both occasions. I have also hired the Yarrow Room for an important meeting.

Whatever the occasion Lisa has been incredibly helpful and professional and shown discretion where necessary. The rooms are always immaculately presented and I have felt confident in the facilities and arrangements.

Each time I have hosted from the Old School I have received such positive feedback and guests are always in awe of this beautiful location. Thank you very much to Lisa and the team, I will be in touch again in the near future to arrange my daughter's birthday party.

We held our daughter’s Christening party at the Old School and it was fantastic. The venue is beautiful, stunning location in Croston and a great layout. The facilities were great. Cleanliness was excellent. The whole process from initial contact to planning to running the event on the day were faultless. Communication was brilliant. Lisa and the team are fantastic and thought of everything, made some brilliant suggestions and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic service from Lisa throughout the entire process of having our wedding reception here. From the moment we booked to the day of our wedding and beyond. 5 star service. Any questions or queries were answered with haste and the day went smoother than we could have planned. Set in the lovely village of Croston and down a beautiful cobbled street. Another successful outlet event held at the gorgeous old school.
Lisa is a joy to work with and Anne’s homemade cakes at the pop up cafe were a huge hit!

The staff are outstanding from start to finish. They are so helpful and made the organisation of our son’s christening so straightforward and stress-free. Wonderful community of people and would highly recommend.
