After ten years of using a competitor I wish I'd found these guys earlier. A comprehensive service, he found and fixed problems that had been there for years (all as "part of the service"), emptied the tanks with no fuss and all for less than half the price others were asking. 100% recommend.

We had an emergency call out following the failure of our sewage pump at the end of July. We called CSG first. It transpired that they could not do the necessary work for 14 days during the latter part of which we would have had to paddle through sewage to get in and out of our house. Both my wife and I are classified as ‘vulnerable people’ and we had to go elsewhere (the tank was emptied the same day and the pump replaced two days later). Nevertheless, CSG billed us for an engineer’s site visit plus a call out fee. The call out fee implied an efficient emergency service which was not forthcoming. They refused to waive the fee.

2nd time using their services for cesspit emptying. Customer service on phone: Very polite and helpful. Driver: Professional and friendly. We had the same Driver each time and can't fault the standard he sets. Hence the reason we've used twice and will use again. I've recommended to others and they have used CSG with exactly the same satisfaction.

This company is a cut above the rest in this field. We used them for sewage disposal and servicing our sewage plant. Their staff right from the office to the final operation is exceptional. The guy emptying our tank was the most helpful guy i have ever met. Well done CSG I wish all companies were like this

I have used CSG on one occasion and was happy with their service. I booked them again.

On the day before I rang to find out when they would be coming. I spoke to Ronnie at the local depot who told me they weren’t able to come out as one of their trucks had broken down and a driver had broken his arm.

My problem was that, due to having to wait 8 days for a spot to clean my cesspit, it was close to overflowing. If it over flowed I was up for a £200 fine PER DAY.

Now Ronnie is a simple worker that, had he chosen to be a jobs worth, could have just put the phone down and left me hanging. He didn’t. He bothered to phone another depot and get a solution. Ronnie rocks.

The next day another truck turned up. The driver pointed out the 10T restriction on the bridge to my place. I pointed out that other CSG Trucks had been over it.

The driver was very apologetic after talking to HQ and said he couldn’t do it. I needed a 1k truck (since this debacle I’ve found out that’s a 1000 gallon truck).

The reason for my one star was due to the chap that range me after this. His rudeness, officious beadleness and lack of common decency was staggering. He said he was Head of Health and safety and virtually accused me of stealing company time as there was NO way they could have ever done this job.

I pointed out they had done the job before. His response was to tell me this information had virtually cost the previous driver his job as he would be ‘vigorously investigating the driver’s actions’. Great!

Since this discourse I have spoken to a number of waste companies - all chuckled when I said I’d been let down by CSG. It appears to be a common issue.

If you do use them make sure you
Are prepared to be let down. And whatever you do don’t expect any help from the management team.

You may however get Ronnie. He rocks so you should be ok.

Everything about the service was first class from the initial phone call all the way through to the vehicle leaving my property.
In my case the septic tank had not been emptied for too many years, making the job extraordinarily difficult.
However, your operator was magnificent and concluded the job extremely efficiently and very quickly given the magnitude of the task he was faced with.
I cannot praise your firm highly enough.
