I saw a portrait painting advertised online by Culvertons.

I commenced an online engagement with Jonathan, the proprietor of Culvertons. After engaging with Jonathan telephonically, and being sent detailed and clear pictures and video clips of the painting, I felt confident enough to purchase the artwork, despite not seeing it in person.

I was impressed with Jonathan's knowledge of period artwork and based on his advice, felt confident to procure the services of a conservator he recommended. Jonathan also offered to do minor repairs to the frame, at no extra charge. The artwork was eventually couriered cross-country to me, using the services of a courier he recommended.

Upon taking receipt, I immediately noted the artwork had been very carefully packaged, thus ensuring its safe arrival.

When I opened the packaging, the restoration efforts of Jonathan and the conservator far exceeded my expectations. The restored painting and repaired frame looked fantastic.

I used Culvertons to help value the physical contents of my father’s estate and then also to help clear the property and garage. The owner, Jonathan, did a fantastic job with both. Him and his team were able to clear the property in entirety in one day, dividing the contents for tip, charitable donation and auction.
