First time I have been in Currys for a long time , past experience was not brilliant, staff not interested, no knowledge etc.
I went to look at new mobile phone and change service provider, nice young lad called Charlie served me , extremely polite and knowledgeable, ended up buying new phone and new provider contract. Went back on Friday , phone was in , Charlie sorted it out, transferred all data from old phone to new phone .
I would 100% recommend Charlie in the phone section
Big thank you

Great shame. This store is the only place you can go to see the products on offer in south Cheshire. Unfortunately the service is zero stars. I wanted to purchase a product - two on display, one with a 'second user' label on it. once they checked stock, they said they only had those on display. He then removed the second user label and insisted it was new. basically a lie and illegal? No box, no remote control etc. There were 5 staff members stood around playing with their mobile phones. I was told 'you must be desperate to go there' by friends - they were correct. The internet said stock available as usual. I guess if you order online with no staff interaction it would be OK assuming you actually get a new system and not a returned one.

Me and my partner ordered a cooker online for delivery, they sent the wrong one so had to go back and said the next earliest delivery would be in another 5 days. We waited, still nothing. A whole week passed so we phoned up, only to be told the cooker has already been delivered!!! So now we are on a wild goose chase trying to find our cooker we spend hundreds of pounds on! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE we can’t even speak to anyone because all Indians on the phone don’t know whether they’re coming or going!!!!!

Ordered online and picked up a dryer. Staff were pretty useless the first time we went, refusing to take the dryer to the car because there weren't enough of them to wheel it to the car. Went the second time and just the one guy brought it out anyway.

I had a terrible experience at Currys when purchasing a TV. They sold me a care protection package without explaining anything about it. I only found out about it when I received a letter at home stating that my account would be monthly deducted for it.

When I went to the store to cancel it, they unhelpfully told me to do it myself via my bank app. I refused, and the general manager was extremely rude, demanding £75 for some "free products" they had given us at the time of purchase. I returned all the free products, and they still asked for £10, claiming it was a discount already applied at the time of purchase.

Overall, the customer service was pathetic. Don't get scammed by the staff at Currys. Their rude behavior and deceptive practices are unacceptable.

Unfortunately, when we visited, hoping to buy a replacement freezer, the store was in the midst of a refurbishment. Only 3 undercounter freezers to view (one of which was discontinued), the other two we would have had to wait weeks for delivery.

Just a warning for anyone visiting Currys Crewe store. I went this morning around 11am as I had recently purchased a micro USB cable on line as I had mislaid my Verisure cable to recharge my video doorbell. Subsequently, after purchasing the cable from Currys, lo and behold, I found the Verisure cable! So, wanting to claim my refund, I walked into the store and was greeted by 2 salesmen. The older man asked me what I wanted and I proceeded to tell my tale and before I had chance to finish my tale he exclaimed "You can't have a refund without a receipt"! So, I tried to explain that I had ordered it online and it was already waiting for me to collect it and again, before I had chance to breathe he again snapped "OK I get all that. Tell him" pointing to the other salesman "and give him your surname." So, feeling somewhat annoyed I told the other man my name and he duly went and got the cable and processed my refund in a very pleasant manner. I commented to him that, in my opinion, the first man I spoke to I would give 0 out of 10 for customer service. The assistant apologised profusely for the upset and I asked if the other man was his boss to which he agreed he was and told me his name was Derek. As I was leaving the store Derek gave me a false smile and I commented in a rather loud voice "Oh! You can smile then!" and told him that as I worked for the NHS as an Executive Assistant to one of the Directors, if anyone had spoken the way he had spoken to me they would not be in a job for very long and I repeated what he had said to me and the way he had said it and he denied it so I immediately retorted "Oh! But you did"! and left the store shaking in anger. So my warning to anyone visiting Crewe Currys store avoid the balding older man called Derek as he is a rude ignorant small minded man.
