Stopped in for an evening meal for my birthday with my partner. There was a lot of people watching live sports in the corridor before the restaurant resulting in a lot of noise- the staff kindly sat us towards the rear of the restaurant so it was a quieter experience. The food we had was simply fantastic with outstanding service from the staff- the waiter even put a candle on my dessert! We will definitely be visiting again.

We had lunch here recently and the service was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The football was on in the bar area which was very noisy even in the restaurant, so if you are not a fan then avoid on a match day. |The burgers we had were nice, and the food came out quickly and was all hot. |I would say maybe on the pricier side for the quality, but not too bad.

This was a one night stay for work. I was in room 10. All the rooms were upstairs, there did not appear to be a lift. The room was okay, the bed was not comfortable and squeaked when I moved. The ensuite did not have any heating. There was a car park at the venue, but it was very small and I got the last space. TV on was was small and the Wifi was okay.

Good location and both pleasant and clean. The staff are super helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The big downside for us is that the place is simply not warm enough. Radiators werenโ€™t on even during the recent cold spell - just takes the edge off being there. The coffee is good and the bar staff do their utmost to ensure it is to your liking. We ordered a prawn ciabatta but unfortunately it came in ciabatta bread so was rather like a prawn sandwich. We will try something else next time and hopefully it will also be a bit warmer in there

Stayed with my husband and wish we'd gone to Premier Inn. Some of the rooms have been renovated but unfortunately not the one we stayed in. The mattress was awful and the bathroom had not been cleaned properly in a very long time. Unfortunately there are no staff there overnight so we couldn't speak to anyone to move rooms. The staff were very nice and refunded us 50% on check out due to these issues, the breakfast was fairly nice too.

Actual hotel is nice, room was ok but shower is dated. |Breakfast was disappointing, the Hash brownie was served cold in the middle. the waffles were burnt underneath so you couldnโ€™t get a knife through them and it was garnished with a hair. There was nobody in the restaurant so no excuse.

First rate stay at The Stage. Tony - the incredibly hardworking manager made sure our stay was perfect. We stayed in Room 3 - a twin - which has obviously been recently refurbished in a pleasing neutral colour scheme. Beds very comfortable with fresh crisp white linen. Shower room equipped with lovely large white towels . Heating perfectly toasty & a proper 32inch TV rather than a silly little thing on the wall. |We ate in the restaurant & my steak was excellent with a delicious peppercorn sauce. My mother had the seabass with a gorgeous lemon & chorizo sauce . Unfortunately the bed of samphire which it was served on was a bit woody but Tony swept into action insisting that he treat her to a pudding to make up for it. So - we had the perfect excuse to sample the sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely delicious & and huge individual pudding which almost defeated 2 of us! Decent selection of wines at a reasonable price. |Super nights sleep- despite the fact that our room was above the front entrance - totally undisturbed by any noise even though it was a busy Saturday night.|Delicious breakfast- eggs Benedict with lovely hollandaise & perfect runny egg & a huge cooked English- excellent quality. All served by smiling young staff supervised by the ever- present Tony ( when does he sleep!) Really good to see a hands-on manager who leads by example & is not above clearing tables himself. |Would heartily recommend for a

Went there for breakfast, very good quality food servered at a resonable price. Service was a little on the slow side die to it being busy but would highly recomend other wise. Would advise pre booking table to garantee your table.
