good value and quality rooms and kit (especially compared to london!). Decent size rooms where you don't trip over each other. Good acoustics.

Went with my kids for guitar exams couple of times. Good place. Not much parking available, but there are some available on the roadside. Oxford music rooms are much better, but it's far away from my home, si I'd probably go here again.

I hadn't been to this rehearsal/recording studio for many years. So since my last visit, a new owner has taken over.
Some time and money has been spent, sprucing up the rehearsal rooms but like any well used rehearsal space, the usual ware and tare is present. It's to be expected though as some musicians can be a little care free when it's not there equipment.
This is by no means a complaint as I could see the room was well kept and plentifully equipped
I was one of the first customers when the studio first opened back in the 90s so have used these rooms on and off over the years, depending on what band I was in.
The sound improvements made to the room since I last used them have done that, made an improvement. It was just me drumming with a bass player though, so what it would be like adding 2 really distorted guitars and a vocalist I don't know. That's the kind of music I usually play anyway. Very heavy.

Access has changed since the previous owner. Now you pay for your booked hours upfront and then you are given an access code. The room was all ready and waiting for my mate and I to load in and start playing. There is everything you need, apart from guitars and basses of course. You can even hire the Snare drum and Cymbals for the kit in the room for a small cost. I used my own snare and Cymbals but used the house shell pack.

Loading in is still as tight as it ever was (all to do with the corner of the building being close to its neighbour. There is also a large step to climb over at the main door so if you have wheeled flight cases be sure you have a helper. It will be a tight squeeze.

Jeff the owner is on hand at the end of the phone if needed but isn't too far away if you really need something sorted at the studio.

No doubt I'll be visiting again at some point as I need the drum practice after not having played for 4 years. I also have nowhere to put my drums which are sadly in storage.

All in all, you gotta love Denmark Studios

My son took his grade 4 guitar exam here. All these places tend to be in industrial areas due to the high level of noise produced by aspiring musicians, but once inside the rehearsal studios offer clean and tidy accommodation at a reasonable price and the staff were accommodating too. We were able to avail ourselves of a cup of tea each while we waited for my son's exam to finish.

Nice, friendly guy in charge. Rooms are clean, well equipped and sound good. Even the drum kits are in pretty good condition, much better than most.
