I took my mother in to upgrade her 50 year old machine. The gentleman was very helpful and knowledgeable about every product available. My mother bought a new machine and was delighted a tutorial was also included. Brilliant service from a local shop and highly recommend. The new shop has lots of machines on display with plenty of accessories for the seamstress.

Absolutely delighted with the service. I was ready to give up on my beloved 43 year old Elna because the bobbin winder wasn't working and it wasn't sewing well. A service and clutch repair and it's just like new. Will definitely use them again.

Sixty years in the industry. Customer service second to none, and a desire to please and find a solution for the customer that is a breath of fresh air. We contacted DSM by phone to ask for information about the machine makes they sold, so that we might research prices elsewhere and to arm ourselves with relevant questions. A friendly welcome when we arrived, a small car park and easy wheelchair access to a large level sales floor.
The shelves were filled with at least a dozen machines from each of the three main suppliers together with a selection of tools and accessories for all the machines. We saw four or five machines demonstrated at varied price points and it was easy to find the ones that ticked most of our needs, but like a new car no one machine did everything at our price. After a few days we had narrowed our choice to a single machine and phoned to complete an order. Jerry remembered us from his many customers and very quickly arranged our order for the machine (A Bernette B38) and a number of accessories we needed that were not included by the manufacturer. Fantastic knowledge base, and service. An email invoice was quickly issued and the deal was done by lunch time. Now we had to wait and hope we had made the correct choice.
We didn’t wait long! Less than 24hours later we were unboxing our new machine and it’s accessories. Jerry and John it is clear to see how DSM have survived at the forefront of the sewing machine marketplace for so long. Old fashioned values and modern machines that are understood so well will always be a winning combination. Thank you both for your help and friendliness, I know we won’t need repairs, but it’s good to know you can help with that as well. We will see you at service time!!

Excellent service. So friendly and helpful! They were more than happy for me to pop in a few times and try different machines with different fabrics to make sure to get the right machine for me. Have called them a couple of times and they’ve assisted over the phone. Brilliant service, highly recommend.
