Liked: Lovely and clean site. Beautiful area with lots of walks. The actual site area was quite large so if itโ€™s not too busy then you can get a spot away from other people. You can get some beautiful pictures of the stars at night as thereโ€™s no light pollution.

Disliked: The neighbours were a little noisy during our stay but the owners handled it immediately and professionally. We did not have any service/signal whatsoever on the site but this was expected for a camping trip.

My friend and I had a lovely stay here with our kids. Itโ€™s a small site with stunning views over the downs. It has everything you could ask for, warm showers and clean toilets.
Itโ€™s a stones throw away from Ditchling village with a lovely pub (the bull) which has a pizza oven for takeaways!! There is a shop and more.
You can hear the road but the views outweigh this. I would stay again.

Great little campsite. Beautiful views of the South Downs, access to walks, and a few minutes walk to the local pub. Showers are clean and warm water. Worth getting the fire pit and wood- good value and keeps you warm in the evening. Would recommend and will be back.

Liked: Site is on the edge of a beautiful village with 2 great pubs, cafes and shop. Local museum and at the foot of the South Downs. There were decent facilities on site, large pitches and a nice vibe for all ages. Owner was present to provide fire pit and logs etc for wonderful evening fires. Weather was amazing. Shame we had to leave!

Disliked: The site backs on to a road that can be busy at peak times otherwise pretty quiet.

Nice little campsite with adequate toilets and showers. Very handy to be close to some nice pubs and the glorious Ditchling Beacon. Shame we had to take our rubbish home. Was a bit smelly in the car on the journey home!

Liked: Loved the well kept grounds, we played football and rounders day and night outside of our tent.
The top camping area has wonderful views of the South Downs.
The location is great in terms of proximity to the local pubs and shops.
Fire pits and logs available on site which was hassle free.
Our family came to meet us for a last minute stay and was able to call up and sort this very easily with the helpful owner.
The showers were brilliant! They were warm with plenty of space and a mirror outside - a cool festival feel.
You can see compostable toilets are in the process of being built which will be great.
Thank you!

Disliked: For us the location to the road was a little busier than we had hoped for but we all slept fine.
The one porter loo.

Great little relaxed campsite. Quite basic. Not much more than a field, couple of toilets and showers. Firepit and logs available on site from friendly owner.
Views and location are what makes this place stand out. Hassocks train station to get down to Brighton is 20 mins walk. Two pubs within 5 mins walk. Great walking trail from the campsite to the South Downs. Very reasonably priced.
