Do yourself a big favour and give this company a very wide birth.
I've been waiting 7 weeks for a bumper that still has no delivery date.
I emailed today (not the first time) asking for an update.
I was called by the owner who was to say the least rude and dismissive stating he was outside the pub waiting to go in for a pint!!!!!! Wow.
I know the website states powder coated will take longer but after 7 weeks with not even an estimated time of delivery and a very rude phone call I have cancelled the order and requested PayPal refund me.
I could have ordered elsewhere back in mid Feb. I've looked into other reputable options with a turnaround of 48hrs. If only I'd looked before paying this company nearly 500 pounds of my hard earned money for nothing!

I needed a replacement crossmember for a project. Ordered a heavy duty version with a couple of minor changes. Was advised of the lead time and price, nothing was a problem.

It arrived today and the quality is excellent... should be ideal!

Please be very careful when purchasing anything from Dixons. I was in a bit of a situation where I urgently needed a chassis and the one at Dixons looked exactly what I needed. I paid extra for the job to be moved to nearer the front of the 5 week job queue. I received the chassis later than expected and the welding is very poor in many areas. My welder had never seen anything like it, not have the half dozen others that have seen it. Will need to grind off a lot of the welds and re weld. To be fair, I was offered a full however this would cost me another £200 to return by courier at my expense. Non existent customer service as per another review here.

Fix it & Scarper

Purchased a Front Bumper for my Discovery 2. Unfortunately the Bumper has Started to Rust from the edges and under the powder coat, been fitted for just over 7 Months. Contacted owner to be told this can be expected with powder coating and doesn't offer any warranty as bumper is for off road use. Thought I'd share my experience because if you purchase any products that are powder coated from Dixon's Fabrications be prepared for the rust to start appearing.

Got an hd steel rear bumper and a hd delux steel front winch bumper for my disco 2 and I have to say, I am mightily impressed. Will definitely be ordering my fatty sliders and sump,transmission and tank guards from these guys. 5 stars all the way

For £72 Ian Dixon got my Defender up and running, whilst other Land rover specialist where giving me quotes from £850+vat.what I witnessed from Ian's will equip workshop,he fabricates good quality products.Ian could not of been more helpful to my wife and I..,Thanks Ian for sharing your knowledge with me you saved me hundreds of pounds...
