We have just had some large alcove units from Dock Design and the experience from start to finish has been exceptional. We first made contact because the big companies couldn't make units to the measurements we wanted, and couldn't let us keep existing electrical sockets. Tommy came out straight away, confirmed that they could make exactly what we wanted and gave useful extra advice too. Also, we were able to choose exactly which colour to have, rather than from a limited choice. Throughout the design and making process, Tommy communicated and checked everything was as we wanted. The fitting was extremely professional, with such attention to detail and quality control right to the end. We are delighted with the finished product, the quality and finish. It is unusual nowadays to experience such outstanding customer service and to have total confidence. We can't recommend Dock Design highly enough.

Dock Design built two bespoke wardrobes for my house to fit into the alcoves and it has completely transformed the space and looks incredible. Tommy was great throughout the process, explaining all of the steps and giving useful recommendations on the design and colour. The fitting was very smooth and they returned after a few days to ensure I was happy and for final minor adjustments. Would highly recommend for any carpentry projects!

Very happy with the Alcove Unit built by Dock Design, they were a joy to work with, included onsite visit to measure up and take our requirements, colour matching to existing wall colour, and build done in a day and a half. Would definitely use them again.

Commissioning Tommy to design and build my writing desk was a no brainer. He was driven with endless passion and enthusiasm for the project from the start. He was extremely open to my feedback and managed in the end to design a desk that both suited my niche design sensibilities and specific work requirements - no small feat! He is easy to communicate with, very responsive, and was notably excellent at transforming my crazy ideas into workable solutions. The end result has blown me away in its simple, raw beauty and the flawless execution. Tommy is truly a master craftsman with an eye for good design. Little details like the hidden drawer handles and secret compartment to get rid of wires still manage to make me happy to this day. Thank you Tommy for making sitting down to do a day's work an absolute joy. Hire him quick before he gets too busy because I'm recommending him to everyone I know.

I was having problems storing my large shoe collection !! when a friend recommended that I contact Tommy at Dock Design as he had made her a bespoke coffee table and she was very happy with it. Tommy came to see what space I had available and was able to build me a fabulous storage/window seat making full use of the space in order to give me as much storage as possible. I am extremely happy with the outcome and as well as my shoe storage problem being solved I now have a lovely well made window seat. Many thanks Tommy for a job well done.
