Came here for the filming of a tv show.
Although there is a LOT of hanging around, it was well organised and the staff are friendly but professional.
It's interesting to see how a tv show is actually put together and there's some fantastic facilities here.
Even if you're not there to appear in/watch a show, there's a nice, fairly priced coffee shop and plenty of space to get your laptop out.
Easy to reach from the motorway way and plenty of parking.

Always a fun experience. Knocked a star off as the food and drink kiosk is on the other side of the barrier where they take your phone off you so if you’ve only got Apple Pay, you’re a bit stuck. I even said someone could come with us to pay and we’ll bring it back as my diabetic sister was in a hypo but we were asked to go to the Co-Op round the corner instead, not very well thought through.

There is a great new cafe opened in the Dock 10 building in Media City, Salford. I Had a lovely morning coffee here with my neighbour. Very friendly staff, plenty of seating, competitive prices for coffee too.
The cafe is called Hot House and there is also Kargo Go food (perhaps a play off words on the Kargo Mkt food hall in the Lowry Shopping Mall).
The cafe is not as busy as the nearby Costa and Pret cafes so it’s very easy to find a seat.
The Tardis from Doctor Who is here as well as the clock from the TV quiz Countdown for people who like their Instagram selfies.
There are fresh warm pastries in the morning plus sandwiches and fizzy drinks too.
I definitely recommend giving this charming cafe a try.

It’s beautiful viewing and near perfect place for special events from bbc and itv there so had lots of famously people there everyday from 24/7

Staff and security are fantastic. Despite the number of people, they do their best to keep things going smoothly, and they really do try to help those who may have health and mobility issues.
Concessions are unsurprisingly overpriced.
Now, studio seating. Some of the seating isn't bad. Last night, however, was agonising. Shallow seating with no legroom. If you're over 6 feet, you're in for a world of pain.
Studio staff were helpful and professional, keeping people informed at all times.
The compere, as ever, was a lot of fun. Great at warming up the crown and keeping them that way. He delivered instructions in a fun way. If you've been to multiple filmings there, you will recognise a lot of his material, but he still keeps it fun and interesting and definitely prevents boredom while the less exciting things are going on.

Great time being part of the Lingo US recording audience. Interesting to see how a tv show is recorded. Staff very kind and helpful. Located very near the war museum Lowery centre and mall. Tram stop right outside so you can pop in to Manchester while you are there. Disabled drivers get 4 hours free parkingat the malks carpark. Just present your ticket and badge at the service desk.

Home of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. Seen several shows which are recorded for the radio in the future. A lot of waiting round but worth the wait. You apply for tickets and if you're lucky you are invited.
