Wide range of fruit and veg all friendly faces, love the crusty cob shop too and the little cafe as well they do amazing smoothies and great prices at the plant stall and faces that have been about for some time. Never met a rude trader. Love the clothes on marks stall great prices too

I remember when we had the best market in the North. People came on bus trips. If you didn't have a regular stall you had to arrive early and queue Now there is nothing not even in the meat and fish market More empty stalls than occupied.

It's a good market with separate areas including a meat and fish area, , although it is better than some other local markets it's a shadow of its former self with stalls severely cut in number. Although what remains are decent quality vendors with some really good items
