Nice venue. Food options not great when I went, though. Bar gets v crowded, seating is limited, too. If going there, don't rely on it for hospitality, just the show.

We visited for the first time and have to say, what a lovely place to go to. Really nice people working there as well.
We would like to say a really big thank you to the lovely Laura Aldridge. Looked after us for the whole evening and is fantastic with her gust service. Unrivalled.

We would also like to say thank you to the very helpful Dagnna Goodwin and Deanna Goodwin. Very helpful, lovely interaction with wonderful service - Hope we have spelt the names correctly.

We signed up to the Friends package as well as is a very good deal indeed.

First time here, back next week for a show and will be along many more times and this is all down to the excellent experience we had from the above and their colleagues.

Nice local theatre, great bar and cafe, friendly staff, excellent auditorium. Enjoyed watching the schools choir there.

Excellent community venue for concerts and cinema. Arguably better bar service than mainstream venues because it's really well staffed, and you aren't having to queue with 1000s of other people.

I really really felt so so compelled to write this review! Me and my partner went out last night to watch the Jimmy carr performance at the halls ! My partner had booked it as a surprise as I unfortunately have blood cancer and the last year or so has been incredibly hard as my illness progresses. We have quite literally lived and breathed hospital and treatment and more hospital and more treatment! We have a 12 year old daughter and we haven’t had a date night together for quite some considerable time! My partner had to go on a waiting list anyway for the tickets but managed to secure two! We mango sort out a babysitter and off we went! On the way we had to go down pitch Black Country lanes in the middle of nowhere and it had been raining heavily! We were already slightly late as it’s never easy when you’re unwell! Unfortunately on the way we smashed into a pot hole that quite literally tore our tyre off! We were stranded! We had a spare wheel but we were stuck on dangerous country roads and we didn’t even have a torch! The rac couldn’t come for hours and we we’re both in brand new clothes for the evening. It was horrible and very scary. I felt incredibly vulnerable as due to me needing oxygen now to breathe I wasn’t strong enough to change the wheel. We eventually limped the car to the pub in the village nearby and got someone to help . My partner was hysterical because she knew we would miss the show! She called dorking halls just to notify them. When she called she spoke to the most loveliest of girls! Stephanie! She explained what happened and Stephanie could of quite easily done nothing but instead she absolutely pulled out all the stops! She actually managed to transfer our tickets to a later show so that we still got to go and have a bit of enjoyment after so so much bad luck! She got us into the bar on arrival made sure we had somewhere to sit and turned our whole night around! We literally arrived crying and left with tears of a much different kind! Joy ! She absolutely made our night and we are so incredibly grateful. We really are . Stephanie and the girls at front of house were so so kind. We will never forget them! And we will definitely return! Sometimes but not often you come across people who genuinely genuinely care about! Stephanie is unquestionably one of those rarities! Thank you so so much ! Xxxx
