I bought a lovely piece of beef for my Family Sunday lunch. I was told that it would roast beautifully and be delicious. It was better than that. The beef was superb. I wasn’t even charged extra for being ex RN!! Thank you. Definitely my butcher of choice now. Cheers 🍻

Brilliant butcher knows exactly where his meat is from and knows the welfare of the animals. This is very important to our family knowing they've been well looked after. His meat is delicious, excellent quality and he's so helpful and friendly. You can tell he loves selling good quality meat.

I came across the Kiwi butcher by chance after dropping my daughter off to her weekly Stagecoaoch drama class. What a great find! Beautifully matured meat at fantastic prices. I had a 60 day old forerib of beef for Christmas and it was without doubt the best piece of beef we have ever had. Similarly a shoulder of local lamb, boneless and tied to look like a cushion - it also had all the neck fillet in it - cooked low and slow and was wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A most helpful and knowledgeable butcher who chooses which farms his meat comes from and it is excellent. I have also found that even my rare requests are never too much trouble and to top it all it is always service with a smile. Thoroughly recommended.

Best meat, locally sourced, in town and at good prices. Very little fat on the meat or in the mince make it ideal for certain Diet requirements and he also does a range of GF products and will try to accommodate getting less asked for types/cuts of meat on request.

There really is no need to go anywhere else. Fantastic butcher. Knows what you want when you ask. Quality cannot be beaten. Really friendly. Forever go in wanting one item, end up coming out with a load of cuts of meat, sausages, etc. Service really is second to none.

Probably the best small butcher in Dorset. Low overheads for Dion means exceptional value for us, combined with passionate & humorous customer interaction equals excellence in my humble opinion, I shop nowhere else for my meat. Dion knows excactly where & how his products are reared because he collects them himself. The Poundbury set really are paying through the sniffy nose !! at The Brace.
