i had some blue anodising done by dorsetware on some old bmx parts,these parts to source new would have cost me £300-£400.i took a sample piece of the colour i wanted and they said yes they can do that colour.So when they quoted me £80 i was very happy.
When i collected them,i could not beleive what i seen,the finish colour was completely different and the very bad quality of the anodising was absolutely disgusting.
I will never go back there again,please be warned !

Took some parts from an old convertible car I am restoring for rechroming, never having done this before. All at Dorsetware were so helpful, and their price was competitive. I have just had the parts delivered back to me for free as they had another delivery nearby, and the finish is outstanding, better than new. I would not hesitate to recommend Dosetware, and will certainly use them again.

got some motorbike parts re-chromed and agreed the price with the polisher and the plater £ 300 +vat. after 6 weeks I collected the items and discovered few issues with the finish as some rust was visible through the new chrome. returned a couple of items and discovered that the polisher and the plating were done by two different companies. received the following xomments: it looks better then when you brouht it in and we cannot polish where the metal is folded.
took my parts back and will not use this company services again.
poor service, quality control is non existent.

We've been looking for years to find a firm who could chrome alloy engine casings for us without charging a ludicrous price or taking forever. Job done! Dorsetware!
Special one off jobs as well, we made a custom sissy bar for a trike we were building 7 days later, sissy bar fitted and looking marvelous and resplendent in new shiny chrome plating!
