Brilliant - if you've not done the tour, sampled the rum, enjoyed the experience - then get booked on. The distillery is in the Welbeck Estate, in a beautiful old building adapted for the distillery. Darren, our tour host, is exceptionally generous with the rum measures !!! Exceptionally generous with his knowledge and time given to you, and this is an exceptionally good value gift for someone (which is our case). If a driver, you are given samples to take home. We certainly knew very little about rum - and in truth - would probably say we didn't particularly like rum - we do now !! Go wrapped up if winter, it's fairly cool inside. Comfy bar area, toilets, parking - all good.

Visited Drop Works yesterday on our way to a weekend away and what a little gem of a place. Darren who did the tour was so knowledgeable about the whole distilling process. It was really fascinating. If we come back this way we will be sure to visit again and if you’re in the area take a detour there. And because I was the designated driver I was able to take away some samples of the rum to taste later.

We did the tour today with Darren and what a joy it was. Darren was a brilliant knowledgeable host and very generous with the samples. Drivers were also catered for with samples to take home so they didn't miss out. All in all we would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I did the DropWorks Rum Distillery Tour Package yesterday afternoon with my wife and parents. We had a fantastic time where Darren was a superb host and guide who was very engaging and generous with his time. I would definitely recommend a visit.

What a fantastic experience.
The DropWorks distillery is a must see place if you’re interested in the “engineering” side of distilling. The copper pots are beautifully designed and created.
And the most important part for most of us - the rum is great..! Smooth, strong, and a great taste.
The tour itself was hosted by Darren. He was superb from the very first introduction. A natural for hosting this sort of event and an excellent ambassador for DropWorks.
The samples were generous and the whole afternoon was entertaining, great value, and left a positive lasting memory of our time at DropWorks.

Had an awesome tour today, Darren was so insightful and made the experience 10x more interesting than what I already had expected. Rum is one of the best I've ever tasted. Can't wait to revisit 🙌🏻
