I am having an awful experience with customer service regarding a refund. All responses are copy and pasted, no individual response to my emails and messages. I have had the phone put down on me, told incorrect information and I am at my wits end. It took 6 weeks to return an item, three times messed up collections. Eventually I took it and posted it myself. Dyson received item on 18 December, I was informed due to the hassle that my refund would be in my account before Christmas, it is now 16 days later which is 2 days over the maximum I have been informed was the maximum. I love the product but have totally lost faith in the customer service and will not be purchasing another Dyson product if this is this support behind they provide.

Shame Dyson used to be great but their after sales service is really poor. Waited 2 months for a spare part meaning our V10 could not be used. When I rang to chase they said I had it. Royal Mail confirmed it hadn’t delivered it. Dyson sent me an email advising me to return the broken part. Then within minutes said they have received it back and would issue a refund. No offer to send out another or help in anyway. Basically sort it out yourself. I will but it will not be a Dyson.

Dyson are shocking. Purchased a dyson ball animal vacume cleaner 11 August this year. When the first one arrived it started to sqeek when using it. They sent me a replacement I thought the problem was solved. After a couple of weeks the same problem was there it started sqeeking again. Phoned up and they wanted to send a replacement part which I refused I had only had the second one a few weeks. They have sent me another and guess what the problem is still there. There must be a fault with this model. Asked for a full refund, I have to wait two or three days for some one to get back to me. I am not a very happy customer.

I so wished I'd read these reviews before buying from Dyson worst experience by far from customer service no wonder Mr Dyson is living the life of riley in a tax haven somewhere no doubt with all our hard earned cash and doesnt give a toss about the customers who pay for that! I have been out and out lied to by the so called customer service, you just can not get any help, oh well, next step trading standards, if no joy then the media will have to get involved.

Terrible company. Take your money, take ages to deliver products then take even longer to refund. Whole process has been over 1 month. Reported to trading standards and also the bank.
Would avoid buying from them directly and purchase from another retailer instead.

16th Feb well done Dyson instead of sending me my replacement up right, I’ve received today a filter how on earth can you run a business like this.

14 Feb, after sending Dyson back my V11 Up right as it was faulty and under warranty, it’s now confirmed they are sending me back individual parts, never buy any of these products, God help you if you encounter a problem with your product.

HELP!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡11th Feb 2012 still waiting for Dyson to resolve and send me a replacement it’s so disgusting that this situation as gone on for over 11 weeks when my V11 is in warranty, this is so stressful dealing with Dyson, after my complaints emails and telephone calls to the customer service department you would think a manager would resolve this issue, I’m not asking for a lot, just replace the faulty V11 that is in warranty, it’s not that difficult, this has been such unacceptable poor customer service 😡 😡 😡 seriously Dyson I’m sure from reading other peoples feedback your going to win an outstanding award customer service. NOT!!

5th Feb still no reply from Dyson after leaving messages and emails yesterday.

4Feb 2021 eight weeks later, hours of wasted phone calls, still Dyson can not send me a replacement unit under warranty, to be honest how a company can treat customers in this way is a total disrespect for good paying people. Dyson your customer service department in a JOKE.

I have no choice to go to the small claims courts to get my money back this situation has caused so much stress and anxiety in a time when we are already stressed with Covid.

Shame on you Dyson never buying any products from this company again.

Dealing with this company is so painful, after hours on the phone trying to get my faulty product sorted, I was sent a second hand dirty replacement, disgraceful after sales, paid £700 on a up right, will never go near a Dyson again, get your house in order Dyson how can you treat customers in this way.

After posting this post Dyson still havèrent been in touch to get me a replacement that was ordered on the 12 December 2020 despite 4 confirmations I was going to receive the new unit.

It just confirms how awful and unprofessional that you treat people in this way.

Not even a courtesy call or any contact just shows Dyson customer service just couldn’t give a damn.

Never going any where near another Dyson product.

THE WORSE “CUSTOMER SERVICE” I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED…EVER! Will never again buy a machine from Dyson. I even called into 2 Dyson stockists (having purchased directly from Dyson!) to ask for help and both of them said they do not even recommend Dyson anymore based on how poor they are to deal with. Don’t be fooled into purchasing based on the brand name…
Still waiting for a resolution…I’ve posted my machine to them and haven’t heard anything!!

Shameful customer service! I bought a fan directly from Dyson which became faulty so it was returned and replaced. The replacement was also faulty. Having returned 4 faulty fans, Dyson agreed to a refund (June 2023). So far I have spent 3 months chasing the refund and this has included me being on phone for 7 hours!! Customer service is incompetent and has poor processes. I have been promised a refund 4 times, I have given my bank details 4 times. For some reason the refund is rejected by the back office and there is no process or inclination for Dyson to follow this up and call the customer - you have to call them!
Still waiting for £250 to be returned to me.
Appalling!!! Shameful!
Reputable companies will respond. They will also react to poor reviews on here. Dyson isn't interested and doesn't care.

Note: In the end I wrote to Dyson head office who did reply. After 2 attempts from them I got a full refund. Dyson needs to sort out how its overseas call centre deals with 'non-standard' issues. It took me 5 months of chasing with 10 hours on the phone - this is totally unacceptable for a company the size of Dyson. They need to care as much about their customers as they do about the design 'innovations'!
