Called in whilst visiting the area to buy some steaks. The reception was cool to say the least, bordering on rude. I said good morning and was ignored, then I was shown a badly cut piece of rump, 3" at on end and 1" at the other. I was asked what I wanted with no customer care whatsoever. I came away with an odd piece of rump steak which i have to say was very nice. What a shame as I was in the mind to buy more. Good luck to them if they can afford to show such lack of customer care.

A pleasure to shop here great selection of pies sweet and savoury good selection of veg and the meats on offer looked really impressive. We were also surprised when we paid as it was a lot less than we thought. All staff also very friendly and helpful.

Always have lots to choose from, the meat is good quality and tasty. Been sampling their ready made meals which are brilliant my favourite so far is the lasagne. Even get a few bones for my dogs so we're all happy!

Really missed going during lock down it's still great quality and they have all safety measures in place so I feel confident returning. Not all customer appear to be observing the restrictions only 5 at a time in the shop, and wear masks please. Lovely bread, excellent range of veg and fruit, well worth a visit.

Visited as we were on a self catering holiday and Googled butchers in the area. This butchers advertised they were open until 3.00pm on a Saturday we arrived just after 1.30pm approx all counters were packed up and when I asked for produce the man said I should have come earlier as he’d been here since 7.00am? Not the way to treat customers especially when your Facebook said 3.00pm Apart from that couldn’t fault the meat and other produce lovely fresh vegetables, shame about the person who served me!
