Brilliant customer service! They were hired to supply the gowns at my university’s graduation and there was an error (from the uni) on when we could collect them and so we were waiting for an hour on Sunday when they weren’t there to supply the gowns. Tim was lovely and gave us our hats to keep for free as an apology - even though it wasn’t their fault! Amazing service and really made my day!

Excellent in all respects, so 5 stars for a faultless service, from the ordering and payment process (in my case via eBay) to fantastic customer relations, super fast delivery and most importantly, the product itself: exceptional quality and value for money.

I ordered a doctoral gown and hood but made a mistake with the exact details, but no matter, I was contacted almost immediately by email and my order was amended to the exact specifications required. The delivery process, to Spain, was remarkably fast (with easy tracking, and I was contacted by phone before the delivery itself) and the goods arrived neatly ironed, wrapped, protected and securely packed.

The gown and hood are beautifully made, and most importantly, "correct," with remarkable attention to detail and meeting the exact University of London specifications in terms of colour, hue, fabric, edging, rounded off corners, sleeve length, button cord and so on. The (technically difficult) pleating on the yoke of the gown is first-class and again, shows an eye for craftsmanship and detail.

I would go out of my way to recommend this company, which has obviously mastered the rather arcane nuances of academic robing, and combined superb manufacture and product quality with a slick, modern, customer focused, user friendly and highly effective process, backed by an impressive logistics system. From my own experience, and reasonable knowledge of academic dress, I would suggest that if you are looking for a specific item made from scratch, or indeed in bulk, to the exact specifications of a university (they refer back to original 'sealed patterns') then you should have complete confidence in ordering from Graduation Attire. I ordered Gowns the first time2 years ago and my experience has been wonderfully awesome. Customer Service is at it's peak and communications tailored to suit my business. Recently (2 weeks ago), I hired some Doctoral Gowns and purchased some Bachelors Hood, the delivery was timely and the items were in pristine condition.
I definitely will use Graduation Attire again and again as well as recommending them to every to enjoy their Bespoke Service!

I ordered my hood at the weekend and it arrived this morning just a few working days later. The quality is perfect and is most definitely value for money. The hood is designed to fit under a tie and fall over your shoulders and behind you, but there is also a loop on the collar that can attach to a button, brooch or be stitched to your clothing if this is easier. I can't fault the product or the service and so 5 stars.

Beyond a poor poor poor experience. Ordered graduation gown well in advance through email. Also paid well in advance. I was told my gown would arrive a few days before my required date. However a few days before nothing had arrived. I emailed, I called and I even went on the the chat many many times and never got a response. Eventually the chat picked up my message. Turns out I had been completely forgot about and they shipped my gown for next day delivery. Problem is it was due to arrive between 6am and 9am. I had to leave the house at 8:30. I had to be up at 6:00 to ensure I didn’t miss the post as I was graduating and celebrating with friends and family that exact day. The whole experience was stressful and time consuming and in fact it made a very busy and already stressful day much worse.

Top Notch!! Wanted a super lightweight version of my heavy old gown that's way too hot for playing organ on a Sunday in summer. The new gown is everything it promised. Beautiful design, super light, looks fabulous. Really inexpensive too. Delivery was rapid, arriving first thing the next morning. Doesn't get better than this. Will be wearing it tomorrow. Thanks guys - great job.
