Absolute shambles! Took out boiler protection cover. Boiler stopped working. Couldn’t get out same day but came the day after and basically didn’t have a clue! I had to ring the boiler manufacturer to come and find the fault. I have now had a stroppy woman named Sue on the phone to demand I pay an absurd amount as I cancelled the cover because they’re useless! She couldn’t even do her sums properly. Avoid at all costs and use a reputable company .

After First Call fitted us a new boiler an engineer came and balanced our system.
Up until his visit certain rooms in our flat took a long time to warm up. Now we a have an efficient boiler and heating system. Great!!!
Additionally we have been with First Call for 15 years and in that time they have fitted us with two new boilers and undertook all our yearly services. Always very helpful. No complaints at all.

I only recently joined them for my boiler breakdown at a very competitive price. Had to call them out today as boiler began kettling. Receptionist was fantastic. Within the hour the engineer Dave was here and fixed the problem in no time.
Highly recommend. Thank you First call gas team.

Ian came round to quote us for a boiler. Somewhat polite and came on time but then quoted us for work that “needed” doing. In order for us to have a new boiler. I had a few quotes prior to Ian’s visit and this was the first time I heard of this. It must have added round £200 to the quote. We have a cupboard covering our boiler and Ian requested that we had to remove it ourself. Again nobody mentioned this before. Needless to say we didn’t go with first call but went with a high street name and even then the quote was cheaper! Shame because we wanted to support a local business.

First call gas have always been a top class service. Lovely friendly person to speak to when I called to report a boiler problem. None of this press 1 for this or press 2 for that followed by terrible music. A personal approach. I was talked through some boiler checks by then told someone would be with me the next morning. Appointment was kept and fault identified. A new part was needed and ordered. The repair was completed by a lovely polite engineer. Thank you for a great service.

I took this membership last year .. Ian came to my place checked my boiler and we signed the contract.. never explained that there will be £49.00 charge for a service.. I called the service after 3 month as boiler started leaking all of a sudden .. same guy came and started blaming that we took the membership as our boiler was already faulty .. Later he left the house saying in a threatening tone that office will call you .. left the door open and walked off in a rude way.. I have never had this attitude with Domestic and general ..I am not the only one here complaining about the attitude ..I suggest their office should civilise the staff as customer service can easily make or break a business .. wound never recommend to any one
