I found this outlet whilst looking online for some Hard Goats Cheese. I was a little surprised to find almost no reviews or feedback about Ford Farm and its products and I should have followed my first instinct and moved on, having nothing to do with 'em. However, lockdown - Covid and all that I thought I'd go with (on the face of things) a reasonably priced £50 order. Whilst the delivery took a while my order did arrive on the day advised. However, the cheese is a great disappointment, the quality is very poor. As another reviewer ('crytic crytic') says below, the stuff is really only good for cooking. These are not in any way quality cheeses, they are cheap mass produced plastic type varieties wrapped in fancy marketing words. The smoked ones do taste smokey but, if you can imagine, the texture of the cheapest supermarket 'value' cheddar with some added smoke flavour. The Cave Aged Cheddar Truckles that promise so much on their web site have no redeeming quality at all, save for possibly a decorative effect on the board. As for the Cave goats cheese, despite having no resemblance to a decent Hard Goat Cheese it does help with some cooked dishes, it's the only reason I give 2 stars..... .............Will not buy again and cannot recommend.

We purchased the Litton Cheney selection for a recent party. We were so pleased with it. It arrived perfectly wrapped, lovely box and chilled. All 4 cheeses were sooooo tasty and lasted well. Can’t recommend enough.

We ordered the Dorchester Celebration 6 cheese tier with an extra 2kg stilton (which sat perfectly in the stack) for our marquee wedding for 180 in Cambridge. We are a family of avid cheese lovers and the Ford Farm cheeses did not disappoint – they were absolutely fantastic!! I can’t thank the people at the Dairy enough for their great customer service and fabulous cheeses. A big THANK YOU from us all!
