Quaint little place in a beautiful part of Dartmoor. Lovely fellow who runs the forge who we chatted with a lot. Lovely unusual and unique trinkets for sale in the shop or online. We watched him finish a superb bottle opener and purchased it still warm.

This 300 year old forge was nearly lost to the history books - but has been lovingly restored back to a working blacksmith's shop by it's current owner. A hidden gem in the village of Widecombe-In-The-Moor and a great place to pop in to. You can watch the blacksmith at work, learn a little or buy something made in the workshop.
