I went to this garage for an MOT and service on my car and what a positive experience I had. Communication was excellent and I received real value for money. I note a previous review which has suggested thag you can get Mot's cheaper, when it comes to my car I prefer quality over saving a few pounds and quality is what I got. Even though they were extremely busy when I called they managed to fit me in that week as I had left booking my MOT until the last minute and even stayed open past their normal closing time for me to pick my car up.
I would highly recommend this garage to anyone in need of car repair!

I recently took my car in for service at Frankhams. When I spoke to the lady on the phone to book my car in for a service she was very helpful and polite. I work shifts so I was allocated a time which best suited me which I thought was great.
On arrival the mechanics were really helpful and told me they would be in touch once they had finished and checked over my car. I was called back and advised a tyre needed replacing and I needed a oil filter change. The garage offered me great prices and service parts and labour charges I was really happy with as I was worred of cost and said I could pick up my car the same day.
When picking up my car I was really happy as everything was explained in full. I would highly recommend this garage as its local and family run garage and has great mechanical engineers.

Literally the best garage for anyone to go to. They are a family run business so pretty old school but so helpful and friendly. It's so refreshing to go somewhere knowing you're not going to get ripped off! They provide a free quote with no obligations and are quite happy for you to go elsewhere if getting the mot work done etc. I've not been able to pay the full amount in one go but they were really helpful and let me pay in installments.
Although they may not be easy to get hold of via the phone, of you leave a message they do get back to you. They are so busy I'd rather wait for good service than take my car somewhere else to be ripped off.
Also they explain exactly what is needed and do not patronise you as I've had in other garages for being female.

Lady in office very polite. She gets the star rating. Put car in to have mud flaps fitted and came back 2 hours later to be told they had only just been done, though was first quoted it would only take less than an hour. (12 screws) Apparently no spare ramp! Don't know if he was having a bad day but I found the mechanic a bit on the surly side. Wouldn't be inclined to use this garage again.

Great place, got me in on a very busy week at leading up to Chrismas. Price was unbeatable I would say, probably the best price I've paid in recent years, accompanied by a great service and MOT. Great staff. Will highly recommend and definitely be using again.
