VERY disappointed with SPENCER suite. Bought via Furniture Village Taunton 4 seat motor recline and 2 seat static. Also paid £200 for insurance. Within weeks of delivery end seat of 4 seater cushion had collapsed resulting in tilted state. Reported to FV and they contacted G-Plan, no engineers in West Somerset so had to arrange an independent agent from Cornwall. They would only investigate on a Sunday. Repair work took 2 months. Tried to contact their office and CEO but they completely ignored us. Buy a cheaper brand, it'll be better in the long term. I would not recommend G-Plan to anyone.

Do Not Buy a Collins & Hayes Sofa
Collins & Hayes are part of the G Plan group.
C&H Sofa and two chairs ordered on 20 May 2023.
Delivery was advised for 8-10 weeks.
18 weeks later and still no delivery.
C&H advising that they will not deliver until mid November - which will be 26 weeks.
No updates have been provided without chasing.
No attempt has been made to expedite the matter and deliver as soon as possible.
The retailer has asked C&H if they can loan me a sofa until delivery (I have nothing until this is delivered). C&H have refused to help.
The delivery times are completely unacceptable and the customer service in the face of this is non-existent.
I would give no stars if this was an option.

Delighted with our Second G-Plan Three Piece Suite.
We decided to replace our G-Plan Three Piece Suite, with similar, in early 2020, because we had been very satisfied with 7 years service from the original suite. As we were now retired we waited for the same fabric to become "end of line" & thus discounted. Order placed. Then the Pandemic Lockdowns hit.
Everything was ready for a pre-Christmas 2020 delivery. Sadly living in West Berkshire we then went into Lockdown. This meant the arrangements for our old suite could not happen, nor could delivery from G-Plan in Wiltshire cross the county border.
G-Plan were extremely accommodating by holding our now ready Three Piece Suite until a suitable delivery in May 2021.
We are still very satisfied with our furniture. We are extremely happy with the understanding Customer Services during Lockdown "hiccups".

Am in the process of buying a new sofa after just 2 years, definitely wont be from GPlan. Were not aware that GPlan cushion interiors have a warranty of just 2 years and according to Nina Comley Gplans Customer Operations Manager they are unable to advise an average life span of seat interiors because it depends on how they are sat on and how often and for how long. 3 adults were clearly doing this wrong. Buyer Beware!

Don't sit on it! G plan's chenille sofa is not fit for purpose. After 3 months of normal use by 2 adults the seats are visibly shabby and look as if they have been subject to abuse for 3 years by a large family. It is an embarrassment - a product which was reasonably expected to look good for years needs replacing already. An expensive mistake - don't be fooled into wasting money by purchasing from a so- called "reputable" manufacturer. Save your money and buy a cheap and cheerful product that you don't expect to last.

Fantastic top class Customer Service !!

I ordered a 3 seater Fixed leather Washington sofa and a single recliner electric chair in P grade leather colour Chalk from a local supplier back in August. As promised it was ready for delivery within the ten week order period. At the time I placed the order I was informed by the Salesman I had to choose between block wooden feet or metal castors. ( I wanted neither of these but glides as on my previous leather sofa )
On receiving the sofa, the quality, comfort and everything about it was top class but I didn't like the feet at all. I then contacted Consumer Care and asked about the type of sofa feet ( something I wished I had done at the time of my order) when 'in stepped' Caroline whom I cannot praise enough and who told me I could have ordered 'stem glides' for the sofa feet !
I then set about getting these through my supplier. Weeks later I was still one short and so Caroline very kindly sorted this for me.
Nothing was too much trouble for her at all, she was kind, professional and very efficient. Thank you again Caroline for everything !!

We purchased a G plan suite in October 2013.
In April 2019 one of the castors shattered so I called G plan and they couldn`t have been more helpful they offered to post a replacement without any problem justifying my policy of buying quality from a reputable manufacturer pays in the end.

At the moment I cannot understand why a leather sofa has been sent from g plan with a fault !!!!!!! Do they not inspect? Waiting now for a home serve rep too inspect. As if this isn’t enough just found another problem. Need a new sofa ? Go else where
