It's so much nicer to be advised on what meat goes best with the meal you want to cook and it's cheaper than the big supermarkets, plus you have the homemade pies and sausages, i'm glad we still have a butchers in the village. It pays to shop local.

Visiting the area and popped in here for some BBQ meat. Great selection and had lots of other locally sourced bits (milk, eggs, bread) so we didn't have to go to the supermarket. So good we drove out of our way back again for the next day. Service excellent and friendly. Very envious of the high street offering and hope it is utilised by the locals.

Absolutely disgusted with the products that are sold. Me and a friend brought a cooked chicken portion. When got it home only the outside skin was cooked the middle was still raw. So was a waste of money and disgusting that a shop would sell it as cooked when it was like that as you can't reheat chicken. Not the first time we have had products from there that you cant use. Gave them enough chances so definitely won't be returning.
