My friend and I came here for food today. The cafe was quite busy so service took a little longer which we knew would happen. We both ordered a Frappe each, they were lovely. We both also ordered chicken gyros which came with chips and salad and with a pot of tzatziki. Had such a fabulous lunch here with my sisters and children.
Service was so friendly and efficient. Really went out of their way to make us all feel welcome; so much so that they popped to the shops to buy some meringues for the Eton Mess!
Delicious food with hearty portions.

Went to Gilbey's twice during our stay. Had a fantastic breakfast with friendly and helpful staff. Returned for lunch later that week. Seems very popular and I can see why!

We booked to go to Gilbey’s as a family after my grandad’s funeral. As you can imagine, this was an emotional time and we wanted somewhere we could chat and spend time as a family. Gilbey’s went above and beyond to provide this for us. They stayed open beyond their usual opening time and service was quick and efficient. The staff were friendly and polite and really gave us the space to feel at ease while enjoying our meals.

The food and drinks were excellent value and portions were generous and well presented.

Overall an excellent experience on what had been a very difficult afternoon for us all.

First time visiting for food during a 3 night stay in Marske. Beautiful venue food and wine are fantastic and lovely owners will definitely be back. We went for lunch the halloumi flat breads were delicious

Went in one afternoon with just 20 mins before shutting. Asked if we could have a platter to take out.
They were so accomodating and produced a platter that was put together with love and using top ingredients.
I will post a picture of the platter as the night we had in grazing on this wonderful food was excellent.

Had a lovely lunch here today , food was served quite quickly and was piping hot !!

The food and atmosphere were incredible! Those chips were the best chips I've ever tasted! I had calamari and it was delicious 😋
