A perfect example of health and safety gone mad as a factory and workplace. Absolutely terrible site to work on, the management's expectations are just ridiculous and the staff seem terrified of them! The people in charge of this company are clearly useless and need replacing as soon as possible. Especially the health and safety management. You can't avoid every risk and keep a place working, obviously!

As for the food, well it isn't great. The meat is a low quality as a rule. The pastry is fine, and I quite like the seasoning in the sausage rolls, but what few points these positives gain are immediately lost in pricing. The products wearing Ginsters branding are generally extremely expensive compared to the competition, and definitely not worth half the price.

I love Ginsters slices and range.
Tried the Quorn, pasty etc.
This time had the Ginsters peppered steak slice.
Decent chunks of beef but I would classify it as a mix of steak and brisket.

On holiday in the area and on the way to Tesco for supplies we passed your Factory. Almost a handbrake turn in the road as we didn’t know you were there!
I must say, well worth the quick stop! The staff were fantastically helpful and friendly. The factory seconds pasty boxes were excellent value and we cooked a few as soon as we got home.
Some people have a problem with Ginsters not being “proper Cornish pasty’s” but fresh out the factory and then fresh out the oven, you can’t go wrong!!
Thank you guys and girls.

Desperately poor taste and content compared with others. It is probably because you are a big operation that you feel you need to market more and make a profit that way.
However the product itself is very poor and does not deserve the name ,"Cornish".What a let down!!!

Ginsters have somehow concocted the most vile, revolting, and disgusting pasty ever to be created. It is amazing how they make it so as soon as you take the first bite, you can feel the food poisoning taking effect. I would rather eat soil.

First time visiting as we only live in Plymouth. But won’t be our last. Stocked up on pies and pasties to fill the freezer. Quick easy meals. The lady behind the counter was absolutely amazing. Such a personality, you couldn’t help but smile! Thank you so much. Xx

Amazing discount shop at the plant gate.
Good quality at a fraction of the regular price. 5 parking bays are just in front of the shop, and these will make your life easier ?

Not visited factory shop for a little while but have always been greeted with a smile and this time was no exception. Small table's with seating available if you wish to try your food before you leave. Visited to buy box's of imperfect's of Ginsters product's, pies, pasties, slices etc as well as some PERFECT products, in bulk for a fraction of the normal retail price. What is available varies daily, depending on basically, whats cooking ?
