Such a lovely little gem of a place!
It’s so cute her, the remains of the priory are truly lovely, there a sweet little walk around the grounds where you can see old stones from the priory. There a lovely clearing surrounded by trees which is perfect if you need a little peace and quiet. We only popped in for a quick visit but was lovely to see there was a picnic area in the woods, I wish more places had stuff like that. Over all just a really nice little place to pop into.

Great place to have a short ‘mooch’ around. Free Entry even though English Heritage ( but PLEASE make a donation on exiting to help them maintain the place). Plenty of benches to have a rest/‘ponder upon life’ during your walkaround. Looks like paths are being ‘stoned’ since last visit ….. although the picnic bench area is very muddy underfoot.

Not a huge amounts of ruins but this EH place (free to enter regardless) is a lovely area especially to take a picnic. There is a little EH hut for guide books and this was hosted on this day by the lovely Barbara a more perfect volunteer you couldn't wish for.

Monday 24th March. Says on website it's open from 10am until 4pm. Came for the priory and it's not open. Wasted day and paid car park fee just to look at a village. Not happy.
