Visited the warehouse today, I was welcomed in, given a brew and their technical advisor came and discussed my application and adhesive needs.
He recommended a specific gun, and gave me several sticks of glue to try out and find which one suited my needs.
The service and staff were excellent, and a credit to the company. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for glue gun related products.

Have used GGD now more than 5 years and now own more than 3 different types of glue gun ranging from the heavier 43mm slug variety (for manufacturing) to a low temp unit specifically for my young sons craft activities. In the main the products have performed very well and we've been careful to test for suitability and unknowns. Some hard lessons learned along the way, particularly how NOT to change a nozzle (Tip: The gun needs to be hot!).

Can't fault the products or the advice given to date and while there have been issues and false starts most were my own. Given the range and difficulty associated with many of the materials I bond (ie: plastics) the help given has been invaluable.

I have just updated this company review to 3 star from one star. The old review is below.
The company have, since receiving multiple bad reviews etc, finally resolved the issue with their customer to the customers satisfaction. If they had done that straight away it would have warranted a 5 star rating. However, because getting a standard level of service required great effort and may bad reviews, I've only gone up to 3 stars.

Hopefully they have learned.

This terrible company tricked an honest woodworker out of their money by giving false advise about a product. The product failed to live up to the standards expected after the call and now the company don't want to know. No apology no help no refund nothing.

Love these guys! Didn't know what I wanted, so I called and spoke with James. James requested that I sent in a sample of the parts to stick together which I did. He rang the next day with the solution to my problem, then posted me some samples for me to try at my end. This customer service has resulted in a customer for life. Well done all!
