Our first visit after I saw the advert on fb with excellent reviews. Another lovely farm shop near me, food, beverages was good and affordable, free ample parking spaces, all the animals we saw are well cared for. Highly recommended to visit this lovely place, look out for the variety of apple trees. There was a large tree baring tons of plums, czar ones?

What hidden gem! We chose to go here for breakfast as it was somewhere we hadn't been before, and it was well worth it!
The breakfast was served quickly and was excellent, on our going to breakfast list it scored a 10/10! And the best cup of tea.
The whole place had a lovely friendly feel about it.
It's been a bit wet this week so we didn't do a lot of animal visiting, but we will be back in the summer with our granddaughters.

Lovely little place in itself to visit. Food is lovely, but service does let it down. I've been here twice now (once mid-week, and once on a Saturday; both times with the cafe itself half full) and the service has been very slow. Both times we've waited 40 minutes plus for our food to arrive. I wouldn't have minded if they had been more upfront about wait times. As said, the food was lovely, but personally not worth the wait in my opinion. We also ordered a kids meal, and the chips came out quite heavily salted which was a shame.

My wife and I came for our lunch today. It was our second time visiting the cafe, the first visit was lovely. This visit sadly wasn't ! We ordered our food and waited patiently, but sat seeing other orders being taken out , but ours still didn't arrive. I went up to the counter after half an hour to politely ask about our food. I was told it would be a few minutes. So again waited, but still no food . I went up to the counter again to ask if it was on its way, I was it was. We then saw one of the staff come out with the food, only to go in and out of the kitchen several times !!!!
Eventually it was brought over , with the reason being he had been given the wrong table number. Unfortunately due to the food being sat around it was cold. My wife returned the food to the counter and then had to wait for a fresh one to be cooked. We had an apology, but no offer of a complimentary drink or refund.
I feel very disappointed with this visit and probably would not recommend to others
