We just had to write a review as Jon, in Ditchling, was absolutely outstanding in his customer service!
We wanted to order a new design of a metal shed, from the Hex Living company, which we had seen online. We noticed on regular visits to Notcutts in Ditchling that there were other Hex Living displays there. We enquired about the model we would like and although they didn't have the model there , Jon was so helpful, knowledgeable and reassuring that we decided to order through him than online. He couldn't have been more helpful!
Our two sons easily constructed it and created a wonderful interior slab and brick base. We just need to paint the wooden base to match. Very pleased customers! Thank you Jon for going above and beyond!

From the moment we stepped inside one of their show greenhouses, Jon couldn’t have been more helpful. He was patient and informative, helping us refine our requirements and never once made us feel like we were under pressure to make a purchase.
Once we’d committed, Jon sent us a helpful list of contractors who could build our greenhouse and even helped us get some quotes.
He even rescued some baby frogs we saw crossing the path outside his office!

Customer care and service second to none
Initially seeking a replacement for our much loved, but aging 30 year old Alton Cedar wood greenhouse, we visited the Ditchling branch of The Greenhouse People, at Notcutts Garden Centre in October, where there is a varied and extensive display of greenhouses and other garden buildings. From the very outset the service and consideration afforded us by David Potts, the show site manager was excellent. Having listened patiently to our thoughts and needs, he gave sound advice without sales pressure and subsequently repeatedly went the extra mile to ensure that all aspects of the sale, delivery and timely construction of the new greehouse went very smoothly.
Contrary to our initial intentions, we eventually decided not to purchase another Alton cedar greenhouse but went instead for a good quality Robinson's Royale aluminium greenhouse. It was a close decision but one with which we are now very pleased.
I must stress once again how impressed we have been throughout with our experience of dealing with this company. We have never encountered better customer care and service from any company or individual than was so readily provided by David (and in his occasional absence by his colleague John). Consequently, we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company, the Ditchling branch and David Potts in particular to anyone seeking to purchase a new garden building.

5 x Stars for Greenhouse People Ditchling - Jon was very helpful. Shed really nice once erected and good quality - very pleased.
4 stars for the Courier Co. Delivery went smoothly except being only given a time slot of 9-5 after I had made the appointment was not helpful. In the end it came at midday so was perfect in the end.

Peter and Louise Lister - We visited Notcutts in June to check out their garden sheds and were very impressed with their selection, layout and presentation. We had previously visited several other shed suppliers looking at different styles and material construction, but had never come away convinced that any particular one suited us.
At Notcutts I was initially very interested in the Lifelong steel sheds and along with Jon’s excellent product knowledge and patient easy going manner we sat down to work out costs and requirements. I was also interested in the Malvern heavy duty wooden sheds so Jon arranged delivery of the Greenhouse People catalogue for us to study further at home. We knew we had found the right people with which to invest in our new shed!
Much deliberation resulted in me deciding on a Malvern heavy duty Pavilion style shed and we returned once more to talk things over and this time saw Dave who was equally as obliging and patient with my many questions. The shed was duly ordered and was delivered and erected within our time frame at the end of October.
We would both like to say a big thank you to both Jon and Dave for their time and expertise, you could not want for more helpful and understanding sales staff.

Considering the awful weather, Tony Birkbeck made a wonderful job of erecting our new greenhouse from the Greenhouse People. He put in a very sturdy foundation and laid a central path as we are keeping soil on either side hopefully to grow tomatoes next year.
We are extremely pleased with the Hercules Trafalgar Ultimate package in Pastel Sage and found the service we received from John and David in Ditchling very friendly and helpful.We would recommend them to everyone.
