guildhall was honestly beautiful. breathtaking views all around, everything super clean and well kept. not crowded at all when i went, and the weather was perfect which made it even better. really peaceful spot

The building was closed to visitors. The exterior is quite impressive. You can also see the boundaries of the Roman amphitheatre marked by black tiles in the public square

Not the regular tourist must go to, but well worth a good drop in when walking area the area. If you are near St Pauls take time. You will be rewarded in the Art Gallery. No tickets required ….its free.

Wow.. A fantastic experience and opportunity to connect with the history of the City. Amphitheatre incredible, galleries great and workshops wonderful. A memorable day out and free!

A lovely small gallery with some excellent paintings. It repays frequent re-visits and never seems too busy. It hosts visiting exhibitions that are interesting and, as a bonus, has the remains of a Roman amphitheatre in the basement. Has a cloakroom and lockers for bags so visits can be unencumbered by coats and backpacks. Highly recommended. FREE!

Been living in London for many years and never went to visit this little gem in the heart of London. It's free of charge and they offer free guided tours. I have seen some of my most favourite paintings. I read through all the descriptions and really enjoyed myself.

Lovely Hall and free entry gallery next to it with underground surprise - roman amphitheatre remains. At the back of the building Shakespeare's Love Lane. Worth visit

Art Gallery is a very interesting visit. We arrived in time for a free guided tour which was super. Conducted by a very well informed blue friendly badge guide. Exhibition by artist in residence extraordinarily gifted Anne Desmet was a highlight.
