Stayed at this b&b as attending a wedding reception nearby. It was so lovely we nearly didn't make it to the wedding reception. There was a roaring fire waiting for us in the residents lounge as well as tea/coffee and fruit loaf. The room was beautiful with exposed beams, and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Helen and Nick are very friendly hosts. We would definitely stay again.

Having enjoyed farm stay accommodation in the past we thought that Hampton House looked to be a nice place to use as a base for visits to Chester and Liverpool. We were not disappointed! Nick and Helen were excellent hosts, outside to greet us as we arrived and immediately offering tea and cake before we had taken our cases out of the car. Our two rooms - and the en suites - were spotless and ample choice of fruit and cereals preceded an excellent (multichoice) cooked breakfast. When we visit this general area again we shall certainly hope to find a vacancy here. ||Janet, Barry and Rachel.

We stayed for three days at this lovely farmhouse B&B before travelling onto visit family on the Isle of Man. Hosts Nick and Helen are just delightful - and cannot do enough for their guests. We were made to feel so welcome and given tea and cake on arrival - and the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. A delicious spread is provided for breakfast, with home made jams. We also received excellent tips on local pubs and restaurants. ||Highly recommend this B&B - we really enjoyed our time there.

Nick & Helen made us feel very welcome and comfortable for our one night stay. Absolutely perfect stay and even home made cake & tea on arrival in the guest lounge made us not want to leave. Great setting and as a previous reviewer said Hampton House has it all and our room was a great size with stunning views. The breakfast was 1st class and set us up for the day as we just had the final bit of the Sandstone Trail to finish.

We've just spent 3 nights at the Hampton House Farm B&B and it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The old farm house has plenty of charm and character with the original oak beams exposed. The views of the surrounding hillsides and over into Wales are stunning, especially as the sun is setting. A short drive into Chester also means it's conveniently located.

Nick and Helen are fabulous hosts and couldn't have made us feel more welcome, they also put on a great breakfast! We'll certainly be going back.

My husband and I stayed at Hampton House Farm for 1 night while we visited Chester Christmas Market and Shrewsbury. When we arrived both Nick and Helen came out to welcome us. The room was very big, the bed was a super king size and the en-suite was a very good size too.
The bed was very comfortable, the bedding and towels were all clean and fresh. Had a very good nights sleep.
Nick and Helen cooked a fantastic tasty breakfast. There was also cereals, dried fruits, fruit, yoghurts, orange juice, tea and coffee to choose from (very lovely coffee too!!!)
I would summarise our stay to say that this is excellent value for money. The size of the room and the en-suite was very good. The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fantastic. The hosts very warm and welcoming and made me feel I was staying with friends. The views were stunning, even on a December rainy morning. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying here again. Thanks Nick and Helen for a lovely stay.

My sister and I have just spent two nights at this b&b. We were made very welcome with coffee and cake on arrival. The rooms and en suite facilities were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was second to none - we have stayed on several farms and Helen's breakfasts were the best yet! ||Thank you Helen and Nick.
