As we're visiting the area for 1 week and have a packed schedule I contacted Dave as we couldn't visit the shop (it's only open on a Saturday) or wait in for a delivery. Dave was very flexible and suggested that I pop over (at certain times/days of his choosing) to the brewery to purchase the beer I required on-site. Having already tasted the well-rounded and very likeable Muck & Straw at the Bickford Arms, I look forward to supping on the other varieties soon.

Dave was very chatty and happy for our dog to enter the barn where they sell the beers.

What a great find! Great selection of ales as well as lager and wine to sample and purchase.

A coach load of us from CAMRA stopped for a quick pint or 2. We had tasters of the draft beer on offer. We were offered snacks which went down very well. We then were shown around the small brewing plant and had the brewing process explained very well. All in all a very good visit.
