I’ve been a loyal customer of Homebase in Godalming for quite some time, and it’s truly a fantastic store for home improvement needs. Rude staff. Accused of stealing my own tile samples - in front of my three kids - that I brought in (to compare with theirs) just because they "didn't see me come in with them". Get some staff training please.

I try to use shops rather than buy on line because if we don't use shops we lose them. However my experience today makes me understand why people shop on line. Although I was able to get most things I needed, the way I was served was appalling. No please or thank you and continuing talking with his colleague was utterly rude. As customers we have options and shopping in homebase won't be one of mine in future

Had a delightful experience today at the hombase in godalming. I was struggling to find the mirrors and this strapping young man approached me. He told me his name was willis and asked if there was anything i need. He directed me straight to them and even carried the one i selected to the tills. He was even kind enough to offer to help me with it to my car. I just wanted to give many thanks to the team for the ease of my shopping experience but, in particular i would like to give many thanks to willis for going above and beyond to provide me the best service possible.

We experienced outstanding customer service from Tom and his friendly team in the Godalming Homebase store today. He approached us, immediately understood our issues and found a great solution, When we returned later in the day to complete our purchase, he organised the CS team and had our order prepared and taken to the car in moments..Really appreciated the help and professional attitude.
