Went to homebase as my friend has just bought a house. Unfortunately, as we were looking around the showrooms for kitchen inspiration, we got accused of being college students by a female employee and were told we weren’t allowed upstairs. I’ve never given a bad review but unfortunately as an female adult this made me feel anxious and unwelcome.

So much stock staff few if you find one they are helpful. Still got the same problems of over ordering plant stock then having to reduce or throw away but the choice is good .

Looks lovely from the outside but not so great on the inside with lots of empty spaces and untidy areas. Shop looks far too big for amount of products inside and half of the upstairs area is closed off. Customer service was very good and garden centre was exceptional.

On a recent trip to homebase with 2 friends, we were asked to leave the showrooms and were told college students weren’t allowed in the shop. We were paying customers and adults so this comment was very unnecessary and rude.

The store is fine, but unfortunately the parking outside is managed by an exceptionally aggressive company. There are several potentially useful stores at this location which means you can easily be here for more than a couple hours. But if you do, the parking pirates will issue you with a fine and it's completely impossible to communicate with them.

I'd strongly recommend avoiding this store and the others at this retail park.

I ordered boxes of tiles online, received an email to say they were in store, drove all the way there to collect and went home. Tiler arrived 2 weeks later to fit, got to last 2 boxes only to notice they were of a different batch and were smaller! Luckily had enough to do a separate wall and they don't notice. Lucky!!!
