Nice beer and place near the Military Canal, but food and staffing a disaster zone, hence two stars. Two people are serving at the bar - only one needed. They are hanging around having a nice, easy time. Meanwhile I wait 45 minutes for simple food as one bloke takes the orders, cooks the food and serves it. Ridiculous! Whoever "manages" this outfit - you do not need two people serving drinks. You do need two people on the food. Two pints in and I am still waiting. Grrrrr!

This is a wonderful little taproom tucked away in West Hythe. Its basic / rustic but warm and welcoming even on a dreary January day. Really good beer served by nice staff. Have a walk alongside the military canal and treat yourself afterwards!

A great little find whilst out cycling along the Military Canal path!! Staff were really friendly and welcoming to me and my 2 young children. A nice selection of ales, lagers and ciders. We tried the Boomers Lager and Bullion Ale (Hop Fuzz's own brew) and both went down an absolute treat. We will definitely be back, especially as the food looked so good too!!

Had the most amazing burger! Yum yum. Had a pint of Yellow Zinger. Nice and cold and a wonderful flavour. Was very busy but plenty of seating inside and out. Very friendly staff. And good prices. Pint=£3 and Jerk chicken and spicy colslaw =£6. Wonderful.

A great place to stop during a walk along royal military canal. Beer good, well organised, nice menu, good covid arrangements. We stopped here after cycling to Hythe and had an enjoyable drink in the beer garden. Next time will probably also have snack.

Martin and the gang are the best I’m a small micro pub and buy hop fuzz beer, always top quality, very decently priced, and if I stuck due to a busy period, they will sort me beer literally within hours, too too brewey
