Can’t fault it, can’t beat it. Best pastries on the island by far. Pan au chocolate just hit the spot. Focaccia is out of this world and it’s on your doorstep in Bembridge, win. Coffee is actually really tasty too! Love this place, would love it even more if had an indoor menu and served lunches etc but you can’t have it all I guess, understand stuff in the counter is enough to serve and still have a life out of work ? thank you for blessing Bembridge!

I have mixed feelings here.

It’s great looking inside, it has a clean & fresh feeling, the items available for purchase are not huge but it’s definitely worth a look & there’s something for everyone.

I purchased a sausage roll & a jam donut.

I won’t be returning for a sausage roll, it was very greasy indeed & at £3.50, it was also a whole £1 more than the much more delicious ones sold at Woodford’s just a few yards up the street, trust me, it’s worth the extra few steps for something that’s better quality, better tasting & better value.

However, I will be going back for a jam donut, it was delicious, I just won’t be going back very often, I think £2.50 is way too much.

I know this is Bembridge, but £6.00 for a sausage roll & a donut, to take away, is pretty extortionate in my humble opinion.

Very disappointed this visit, we always pay a visit for lunch when on the island. This time no lunch menu only what’s in the cabinet which didn’t look very appetising. We will not be returning to this bakers. We went to foxes instead and had a lovely lunch in there.

Disappointed as we thought we could get something more substantial than just pastries - Google listing is not up-to-date so no Breakfast and little choice for someone with allergies.

Very pricey - at £4.10 I paid more for my flat white here than I do at home in Battersea.

Firstly there is no waitress to take your order you need to order your food at the counter. The full breakfast was nothing special when it came out to us it was on cold plates and looked like a car crash. Toast under the poached eggs was burnt one side, free range poached eggs lacked flavour, and not too pleased with staff petting dogs with cuffed sleeves.
Overall I was not that impressed but thats just my opinion which is I hope an honest and hopefully a helpful one. My wife wanted me to add that for £7.25 she expected much better.
