Regular customer and once again, Hudson delivered excellent service. During a short trip this week, I discovered the B&G wind sensor anemometer cups weren't spinning. I popped into Hudson to ask when they could fit me in for investigation/repair. Within 24 hours the job had been done very cost effectively (only the bearing needed replacement). Top marks to this well run company!

I have placed orders for 7-10 high value items with Hudson Marine over the last few months. I messed up a few times, but through it all - absolutely nothing was too much trouble to help me get sorted out.
I am based in Barcelona and Kristy managed to send (and organise collection of my mistakes) to no less than 5 different locations within the UK and Ireland for me to rendezvous with.
These guys will always be my "go to" - 5 star review for a 5 star company.

I received very good advice on the choice of MFD followed by an estimate for the proposed work that was competitive. The new system was installed efficiently followed by a handover introduction by the engineer. Excellent response at every step. I highly recommend Hudson Marine Electronics.

Sorry to say, quite disappointing. After a very promising review, a change to our Navtex aerial has resulted in in it no longer working. Old tech, but we could have really done with it when crossing Biscay as our primary method of obtaining weather forecasting failed.
Plus, after several requests and more than one confirmation all was good, our instruments still froze. A request to another Raymarine specialist, as by this time we were in Plymouth, resulted in some simple fixes performed for free (!), that have resulted in the set-up working perfectly.
A polite advice to Hudson of the above, didn't receive any response.

I spoke to Will (the boss) on Monday morning 5 Aug. 2024. I went through all the different equipment I was considering including VHF, GPS, plotters, transducers, AIS, equivalent to £15,000 of kit or more for 2 work boats ahead of MCA coding. I got nothing at all from them despite chasing by phone multiple times and email; even speaking to Will again who said I would get something in an hour and he had £400,000 of kit in a warehouse to supply from. Still nothing. That's maybe why he has so much in a warehouse!! What a waste of time and effort if they are not even going to reply. Obviously too 'small' an order at £15,000, they are too busy or out of their depth. I am going to order from another company on Monday morning now; at least they replied within a few hours so clearly know what they are talking about. Really poor.

Good prices, excellent responsive customer service. Fast shipping. I ordered parts for my Raymarine wind vane on Wednesday and had the parts in hand on Friday. Less than 48 hours delivery to Vero Beach Florida is outstanding.
